Ricky Martin is checking one more thing off his bucket list.

The Latin superstar will be launching his very own Las Vegas residency early next year at the new Park Theater at Monte Carlo. The exciting news was confirmed by the chart-topping artist during a press conference in Las Vegas today (Nov.16) after he announced the residency on The Ellen Show.

PERSONALY I DONT THINK HE WILL DRAW BUT HES ONE OFF THE NICEST GUYS YOU WILL EVER MEET SO I WISH HIM LUCK

I'm with you on that. He has an international following, but here in the states he was a bit of a flash in the pan. His name never goes away, but it's not like he's had a long career of domestic hits. Stranger things have happened, and failed, in Vegas, so perhaps there's an audience for his Vegas gigs.

I'm older than dirt but " Livin' La Vida Loca " still turns me into a dancin fool :lock:.
I remember the craze he stirred in 1999 when our daughter was in college and she would bring her friends home for the weekend - c r a z y fun times. So yeah I'll be there to see him and wishing him much success in Vegas. I love it when 'old' becomes 'new' again.
