I remember the days of (2 Mirage nights for 100LP and the resort fees were waived). Those days are long gone!

I would not mind paying more LPs to get to a buffet if I am staying at a CET property, but it looks like the options for doing that are down only a few.

In addition, the Mirage use to let you use the buffet reward all week, now it's Sun - Thurs.

Oh well...... In better news, I was able to redeem 5 awards last trip. :)

It's really not surprising. I started playing it after it had been out for only a couple months. At that time people were paying for their whole trip except the airfare. They've been tightening things up ever since. The whole point of the game has been to get you to go to an MLife property They've now exposed a ton of people to their properties and now the goal is to get you to vacation at an MLife property.

I'm actually surprised they opened it up to Station Casino's. MGM fronted quite a bit of money for the development of the game. Guess their contract for exclusiveness must be done?

Well, it put me off to Monte Carlo.
I took advantage of the rewards last time I was there, I generally book 5 or 6 and see what I can get, I actually got 5. Worked out well for me, I guess.

My first trip to Vegas using myvegas points was early 2013, and I felt hampered by the 3 rewards limit. I had so many points and so many things I wanted to use them on. Fast forward almost two years later, I'm using freeplay, freeplay and have ZERO idea what I want to use mine for. My trip in July, I purchased two rewards and didn't redeem any of them (I think pizza and beer from aria and glass of absinth from Aria). I'm now a CET guy, so a lot of the rewards won't even work for me, I'm just lucky that I have someone staying at Mirage in my name this time so I can use the freeplay. But I've told them to spend all their money at CET casinos, as since they are not high rollers, next time they'll be able to get at least somewhat of an offer for CET, as opposed to Mlife, who still won't comp me more than 2 nights (where as CET comps me most things plus free play and resort credit)

Now if only these CET facebook games like Bingo Blitz (which I used to play and have basically an infinite number of credits) would offer rewards and reward credits without having to pay real money. Maybe one day...

I am not going to Vegas for a WHILE, but I might as well use the rewards for nights at the Mirage. I will use the 3rd award for the Aria drink service.

yeah, loved it at first, too (we are also CET loyalists...) I get it from a business standpoint...(we have used around $1200 worth of rewards over 3 trips since inception)
I was looking today...DH & I each have about 300K LPs & 5 months until our next trip...We are contemplating bottle service just to try it--even if we have to book 1 night at Excal to try it.
We are going to see KA since we have seen LOVE, Zumanity & Zarkana. Maybe the BOGO for Carrot Top.
Then I dunno--buy some buffets to use some points? Not huge buffet fans but would like to try Bellagio once (tho only if we to that bottle service & get a room for 1 night)
Drinks aren't worth the time to redeem--plus we are usually gambling so that it pointless...
meh, glad we got the value out of it we did--only invested $58 & we saw those 3 shows, tried Aria, tried Aria & Mirage buffets, Nine Fine Irishman, Double Barrel & Pub at Monte Carlo, Pizza Place at Aria
    Nice while it lasted.

Same here I've been sittin on 180K points for a long time and not sure what to spend it on, and like you said I'm a CET guy as well so it just doesn't work out.

This game was awesome when it first came out but it sucks ass now, I don't even play it anymore.

Have you thought of doing Social Rewards?? I've been doing them for a while, and it takes a LONG time (not nearly as quick as myVegas) , but I have redeemed my points for RC's and will possibly use them for some dining or show options.

YES we also do Social rewards--at you can earn 45 points/day MAX with 3 posts (often less) PLUS 5 points each for watching UTube videos (I have racked up a few points on a Saturday afternoon doing this).
1000 points = $10 comps. They load right onto your TR card, so that is awesome. Love them at our local casino as the drinks aren't free there, but we have used them for meals in Vegas as well.
You post on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram to earn the points (simple--you click a button to post)--they range from 5-15 points each & you can do 3/day. You must have enough friends on any of those sites to post on them; DH couldn't do Twitter at first, he had to get some more friends first!!

Social Rewards is great for CET people. Started the program in Jan of this yr and made $50 in RC by our Vegas trip in March. 2 months later had another $40 worth for my AC trip. The shares and videos were worth 25 points when I started so it was easy to earn. They are now down to 10 for a share and 5 for a video. Still have gotten back up to another $90 in RC. Earning at a rate of approx $30 every 2 months now. Should have earn between $200-230 for the yr. Now bad for spamming those that spam me and videos that run in the background.

I remember the good ole days too. I don't mind the restrictions on the rewards (specifically the one-night stay for buffets), but it's somewhat becoming a PITA when it comes to redeeming.

There was only one reward I wanted with all my points.....or maybe I should say only one I wanted with my points *that I could also have*.
