    My Trip Report

Well it has begun counting down until I leave my $ in the Nevada Savings &a Loan we know as Mecca-Las Vegas--Sin City-et al sitting in the airport marveling how people can have a thing in their ear and converse for all to hear how to close the deal. Amazing IMG_5249.JPG IMG_4856.JPG IMG_5247.JPG Had to stop at Chuy's on the way to the airport for fuel and beverage---green chilies chicken enchiladas rice and beans with corn tortillas on the side with a beer to wash down the heat IMG_5042.JPG Get to the airport and delayed 25 minutes already. More to come.

The art work / photography of historical events helps pass the time as well there is band and playing but my 10 second video is too big to load. I will hum a little mmmmmmm-ha-dah-be-mmmmmmm IMG_5044.JPG IMG_5271.JPG And they have food which is quite good for airport fare IMG_5046.JPG Love the architecture of the airport. There are parts of it that look like the skeleton of an airliner and other parts that resemble the fuselage if you use your imagination or squint real hard IMG_5043.JPG This is "the guy" Mr. Bluetooth condescending business manager I am sure he is on first class wayyyyy up there they pointed from the back IMG_5274.JPG

Why caper on the end of the title? Thank yours truly, johnny $. All episodes finished with the word "caper" in the title. Sometimes even in the salad when he shared such information.

I will also spill the beans as to a great secret which will be revealed this pm or at the latest tomorrow in the pm. I did not do a trip report last time as it was very unreportable. BUT in chatting with THE Jose at THE Boar's Head Bar, we were discussing ever so awkwardly the last installment at that time that of the Flusher. He had met two women at the bar, both fans and even scores a royal.
In talking with Jose he recalled 3 figures in that very area. The suave male ordering and consuming a makers mark or two prior to retreating to the. Boar's Head Bar's head. I said "That was him!!" In so many words and he said "Noooooo!" Or something similar.
"THE Flusher? That was him? Oh my God!!" in so many words. If you have ever spoken to Jose or listened to his exchange with the customer you know exactly the tone and inflection of which I refer him speaking with tone and inflection.
We talked some more and he later promised he would give me a description of a this elusive figure. You paying attention?
Like finding out Lamont Cranston is the Shadow. Clark Kent is Superman. Bruce Wayne is Batman. Burt Ward is short!! Jose know or thinks he knows of a sketch artist who will help turn memory into paper artistry. An actual picture of the Flusher according to the observations of a bartender who's job is to make drinks, be cordial, point in many directions, and observe!!
I have not spoken to Jose since I left in September. Yet he promised he would contact this contact with a pencil and be prepared to reveal said portrait upon my return. And now what is what? I am delayed.
I am somewhat torn--would I throw kryptonite on Clark's desk while he was dictating a story? Would I actually pull on the Macy's Santa Claus beard? It is a problem to wrestle with on the plane if not too fatigued from wrestling for a seat with the bluehairs.
    Stay tuned.

Wow it is a big plane and only 10 minutes from landing 6 minutes to taxi 20 minutes to unload and line up A's 1-30 against the window and 31-60 on the other side of the poles as marked. Then the good guys with the b's in their hand. Don't normally play it but b-21 makes you wonder. IMG_5275.GIF

I've got actual video of this elusive figure. Much like Nessy from Loch Ness, it is grainy and out of focus, but is definative proof the man is real and doesnt wear a mask and cape (well, not in public, what he does behind closed doors is his own business.)

Been holding on to it for awhile to get the right offer to release it to the public, but mainly got comments telling me to STFU and drink my drink.

    Either way, good luck!

Maybe his artist friend is really good and we can do a "flipbook" and make him dance!! Without the obligatory bullets of course. And us a #1 pencil for graininess.

IMG_5047.JPG IMG_5276.JPG Ok. Flight delays reportedly came from wildfire behavior in west coast with smoke and closures. Yikes. My seat mate is cooperative however.

I still don't understand what this Reverse Countdown is all about. Is that counting up? Huh? Why is the route from LAX to Texas before Vegas? So many questions that are probably in one of the posts above and I'm just too drunk lazy to read.

Holy shit, I just found your thread and the post count is 16.

Just want to say, that does NOT sound like the kinda stuff you want to put in your gut prior to getting on a plane. You must be pretty good with the airplane lavatory.

Ready for pics (not lavatory though).

Plane from LAX to AUS is the plane flying in which will take our protagonist to LV.
