    My Trip Report

My first ever trip report so i hope don’t disappoint!

Have a pretty jam packed schedule over the next 4 days. Taking this trip with my lovely fiancé and my soon to be in-laws who are meeting us out in LV tomorrow morning. We are getting married at the JW Marriot in Vegas this August, and some of this trip will be wedding planning such as seeing the venue, as well as doing a food and cake tasting. Of course that won’t be all, and there will lots of drinking, eating, golfing, pool, shows, and whatever else we can find to jam into 4 days. I am the only gambler on the trip so I will be finding time to sneak away for some VP, pai gow and blackjack.

    here’s the plan....

-Flying first class on United out of ewr to las, leaving very shortly
-4 nights comped at Caesars Palace. Not sure how I got comped since I never gamble at CET but oh well, I’m not complaining!
    - golf with soon to be FIL on Saturday at TPC Vegas and Sunday at Bali Hai
    - dinner at Sinatra’s and Bavettes this weekend
    - seeing the ‘Rat pack is back’ show on Saturday night, and after that having drinks at the Laundry Room

There she is, ready to take us to our happy place

All aboard! See you soon vegas

    Sounds like a plan.

Did you mean 5/13 - 5/17 or did this already happen in March? You can report your own post to get the title changed by a mod, i think.

“Upgraded” to the newly remodeled palace tower. I guess it’s better than the classic forum room I was suppose to have

Wow is it packed here. Plexiglass at the tables seem to be completely gone.

Following closely, heading to CP in about 2 weeks. Funny we have the same taste in restaurants, will be enjoying both Sinatra and Bavettes!

Masks are still being enforced, but about 25% of the people were not even wearing one last night.

A little lacking in the updates but today was a busy day visiting our wedding venue, the JW Marriot. This was the first time being there and I was really pleased with how beautiful the property and grounds are. Almost has an island resort type feel, and really doesn’t feel like you are in Vegas. Took a couple pictures. Stayed for their 7 day a week happy hour where cocktails were mostly $5 and very good. The night ahead is dinner at Sinatra’s and some gambling at the Wynn. Caesars has been brutal to me in blackjack and pai gow, money disappearing much quicker than I would like. Oh well, tonight we make it back!
