Delmonico, expensive, but 2 of the best meals I've ever had, Vegas or otherwise.

Primarily Prime Rib at South Point. Nothing innovative about it at all, but extremely solid at a fantastic price point.

Its funny to the OP's point that there were places on the other thread that different folks here had different experiences at, there are a few here I would have put on the other thread, shows just how much each of us have different expectations of what makes a good meal.

We eat at Mon Ami on EVERY trip, at least once.

We eat something at Olives almost every trip - but only at bar or patio. Dining room is too damn noisy.

Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi is a treat I look forward to and they never disappoint. The Skinny Pancakes - OMG!

Pizza at Grimaldi's is a must do every trip now, and I keep bringing new people and they always love it.

Veranda at 4 Seasons, breakfast lunch or dinner always has been outstanding. Tender at Luxor we have ate there at least 10 times and not once were we less than pleased. Postrio at Venetian is another on the list. While not much more than a snack bar Backstage Deli at Luxor has never once let us down and since it's our "lucky charm" we eat there every trip.

Here they are in no particular order:

    Emeril's @MGM
    Mon Ami
    Grand Luxe
    Carnegie Deli
Joe's Stone Crab ( only exception was a very snooty waitress in Sept. but the food was still good)
    Le Cirque
    The Country Club
    Sinatras
    Julian Serano

Mon Ami has never disappointed me.
    M Resort buffet
Ping pang pong at the gold coast - sometimes i joke that i would fly cross country just for their pot stickers. Gobo beef is really good as well.
DuPars at the Golden Gate. A string of 3 consecutive awesome breakfasts last trip. Will likely pay a visit this upcoming trip to enlighten others.

Unfortunately have not been to some of my favorite eating experiences more than once in LV. I usually try new things.

Grand Lux, Henry @ Cosmo, Noodles @ Bellagio, and Aria Buffet. I'm not a big fan of the more upscale dining options in Vegas nowadays. I prefer grilling my own steaks at home and for seafood I live in the PacNW.

I must agree with Emeril's at MGM Grand because it's the only restaurant in Vegas we have continually visited.......oh, I almost forgot about the Oyster Bar at Harrah's.....we have been there multiple times also because it also never fails our expectations. :)

Mon Ami Gabi for breakfast or brunch. Dinner there is also pretty good. Outside seating is a must. I would even go so far as saying it makes the food taste better. I go there at least a couple of times a year.

Bouchon at Venetian, again for breakfast or brunch and outside seating. I learned from a French friend of mine that bouchon is a bottle stopper such as a cork for wine.

Tao has one of the best meals I've had including steakhouses, and that's their miso-glazed Chilean sea bass. Ordering family-style there is the way to go.

Most other places I've only been to at most twice, and although some great fares have come from these places, I try to find new places every time. I also like most of the 24-hour cafes they have at all the casinos.

Count me in on the Emeril's bandwagon as well as:

    Redwood @ The California
    Pizza Rock near Downtown Grand
Chicago Joe's (off Fremont - not far from the TV Pawn store)
    Peppermill

I agree with the others on Mon Ami Gabi been there a few times for breakfast and it was wonderful. Outside seating is great.

When we went in November 2014 we went to a pizza place called Flour and Barley which is in the Linq shopping area. I cannot speak on their appetizers, sandwiches or entrees but their pizza was delicious. You can sit inside or out and they also had a window where you can just order a slice to go.

I also have been to Giada's 2 times and have had wonderful service and a wonderful meal. I have gotten the rack of lamb each time. However my husband tried veal saltimbocca and the lobster ravioli which he said was so good he did not want to let anyone try it. My daughter in law got the scallops and shimp risotto and she loved it and I tried it and the scallops were one of the best I ever had. We don't get the appetizers except for the pizzetta and we ordered sides of lemon potatoes and spicy corn which I just looked and is not on the current menu. For four of us in November it was $260 but we were not drinking alcohol only soda and tea. Service was also great and they had a picture booth in the waiting area where you can take free pics. That was also fun.

I thank you all for all the wonderful tips on places to go. I am going back in August and I will have to try some of them.

Always hit these every trip to Vegas never disappointed:

Le Cirque @ Bellagio - our #1 favorite
Grand Luxe @ Venetian - lots of options - (But do miss the Wiener Schnitzel/Red Cabbage no longer on the menu)
Spagos - consistently good food and service - BEST butternut squash soup (in season)
Fat Burger at GVR - served piping hot and 5 napkins juicy... (hate a lukewarm or cold burger)

Thanks for all the good suggestions from other posters - will try some on our next trip....

I can't let this be the only thread about good restaurants that doesn't mention Ellis Island.

My dad and I get $5.99 steak and eggs there for breakfast every single morning of every single trip. And it's delicious every single time.

I'm a fan of Nobu in Caesars. The food is consistently good and the serving staff are excellent.
I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Giada's and all have been well done. There is nothing better on a beautiful day. The windows swing open and you have a view of the Bellagio fountains.

Off strip, I like Lawry's for Prime Rib. They are consistently very good.

I'll also mention Roy's on Flamingo. The food and service have been outstanding.

I also think Alize is great but I put zero credibility in Trip Advisor.
They have The Egg and I,Roys, and Cheesecake factory rated higher than Picasso!
I have run into crazy ratings like this around the country and Caribbean.

    Also like Emerils,Jean Georges,Julian Seranno,

Some on my list that haven't been mentioned previously in the thread:

    Stack
    N9NE Steak

Breakfast at The Mansion is always top notch as well, but I realize not everyone gets that opportunity.

I've been to Both locations of Joe's Stone Crab.... Top notch meals and service at both. Atmosphere in the original Miami location is much better.
