Has anyone eaten at Jean Georges Steak? This review looks great. Worth the money? I usually do my splurge dinner at SW or Gordon Ramsey Steak, but considering a change this time around.

 

I've eaten there thrice. First time was pretty terrible - the "American faux-be" steak had spur marks on it. The salad and sides weren't any better.

But after reading so many glowing reviews on VMB, endoedibles and elsewhere, I eventually gave it a second chance. Glad I did - it was one of the best meals I've had in Vegas.

I returned not long after that great meal and had another very good (though not quite as good as the previous) meal. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I was given the correct check before I gave them my CC, they decided to charge another - much more expensive - meal to my card. Took me 2-3 weeks and at least a half dozen calls to straighten out.

So, I guess I'll probably return...but I'll pay cash.

 

Where's the forks rating?

 

Haha. Thanks Carve. I'll give it a shot. Do they have decent bar seating for dinner? I'll be flying solo.

 

So many solid reviews of Yardbird. I must visit this place next trip.

 

Yeah, good bar seating. Decent sized bar, a few TVs...very solo-friendly, IMO.

 

Yardbird, and a return to Jean Georges, for me.
