Traveling Wednesday 2/8 thru 2/11 with 5 other family members for my moms 70th birthday. We have booked Elton John one night and Le Reve one night and now want to try to plan a nice dinner. Lots of different taste and preferences from the 6th of us and while I would prefer a high end steakhouse I am not sure that this is the consensus between the rest of the group. We are staying at palazzo and mirage but would consider anywhere on the strip. Trying for Thursday night 2/9

Prove is not really an issue but would like to keep to around $125 per head.

    Looking forward to everyone's insight.

We had our annual "big" dinner this year at the Old Homestead at Caesars and it was fantastic, although nothing like the original restaurant for which it was named. There were 6 of us and the bill came to around a kilobuck, but that was after more and more wine and more sides than we could finish. You could easily keep things under $125 there.

You Mom is 70... and you have 6 people. I would tend to stick rather close, especially since you have so many options.

STACK at Mirage offers a nice selection. We have done multiple small plates there before and they were great. Will be doing it with another couple again in March.

A fav, Old Homestead. Great service and steaks.
Could go over to Joe's in the Forum Shops for some great fish or steaks and at a better price.

Before or after Le Reve you could go to SW Steakhouse.

If a nice steakhouse wins out, go to Delmonico at V/P. For a wider choice, walk across the bridge and eat at Wynn Country Club.

Better yet, get reservations at Sinatra.

SW Steakhouse (Wynn) or Delmonico (Venetian).
