Check vegasadvantage.com later today. John Mehaffey is going to post his findings from his visit this morning. He is a VP player, so that info should be in his report.

8/5 bonus at the $2 level is better than the competition…

Just learned video poker for my upcoming trip and I guess I will try and play this! Cause reading the other thread I'm going to stay 6 feet away from their blackjack!

If you ask me their video poker sucks . Like all these new mega resorts short pay machines especially for the low roller everywhere. The thought of shopping at the khardasian closet and piss poor video poker keeps RW high on my must visit list for next trip.

Assuming sarcasm here. ‘Cause I had plans to stop in. Now it’s on my short list when I go in a month.

@fenway68 yes indeed it was sarcastic. I’ll stop by my next trip just to see the place. I’m primarily a .25 VP player with a fair amount of dollar VP thrown in too. Dismal payouts for the low roller. It’s something I totally expected , yet I still find disappointing. From what I’m reading .25 to $1.00 VP is in the 96-97% payback range. I don’t care how nice your casino is, I’m not playing on such poor paying machines.

100% although I may not even stop in...I'll wait till my fall trip I think...

when I can get those paytables for $1 at Cosmo and 50c at Circa, you know where you'll find me (I think MGM even bumps to that level at $1...at least they do at my local MGM)

Also learned from the video and not yet officially published by RW: it takes 21k Genting Points to reach the second tier, which is called Fabulous.

If I read the chart above correctly 97% payback for $2-50 dollar machines ? Are they kidding me ? I can better paybacks on a .25 machine downtown, off strip and locals casinos. Above all I care mostly about getting a fair shake. Amenities aside. It’s the casual tourist crowd that will play these machines. Not seasoned players. Not me, not ever.

Airport Deuces and 8/5 bonus for dollars is better than I expected. I wonder if someone is testing out their comp system on those machines right now

IIRC their comps and tier points are solely based on the theo of each machine, which should give them more flexibility to have better options (instead of the blanket $X in any VP = 1 pt).

To address this in the other thread I started about Genting Rewards, I will need to hop on a plane and play "for science" for everyone. Alternatively, I will need a lot more people to record their play on a large variety of machines and post it to YouTube -- and be sure that the Genting Points show in the frame as they progress.

@3OfDiamonds , I didn’t see those listed. Those 8/5 bonus, 9/6 DDB and Airport Dueces at the dollar level is decent. I am primarily a .25 player so it’s still not great for me. If I’m gonna play dollars I’d rather play where I’m giving the casino decent play at the quarter level. Thanks for the correction !
