Yea I will. Luxor sent me an offer for 3 free nights and when I checked available rooms the newly renovated room called the " Cleo Pyramid King Suite " was an option , so I booked it.
oh oh and pics please....
the bf have a conference next year and it would save a lot of money to stay there vs MB (where the conference is)... and i'm only willing to stay there if its newly reno rooms...
All I know is I was offered a newly renovated "Cleo Pyramid King Suite" , and I accepted. The picture of the room did look different so I will see. Stay tuned for pics and possibly a trip report.
oh and pics of the bathroom please..... i'm weird and and shower/tub combo scares me if they have sliding glass doors....
like the ones in NYNY... i'm ok with shower curtains.... but sliding glass doors.... yuck...
Someone posted a video of their renovated pyramid room on a MyVegas Facebook Group that I'm a part of. Check it out here. You probably have to be a member of the group to watch it.
Apparently a good portion of rooms have opened up. I had no clue that renovations had begun until I saw some info on a design blog. Here is video from YouTube of the renovated rooms. I kinda like the look of the new design.
Funny thing is, the bathroom re-do is a lot like what Harrahs LV did with the drop in tub to shower conversion. Almost every single element of egyptian theme in the room is gone.
Looks incredibly small to me. The Cleo King suite someone above mentioned, is it much bigger? I couldn't stay in that room with sloped ceiling and such a small bathroom. I have to have a separate shower and soaking tub.
