    Hey yall,

Headed to Reno on a solo trip over easter weekend. Staying at the nugget (I know, but it was so cheap). I've never been to Reno before and was just looking for some advice on places to go and casinos to see.

I will have a car and I plan on checking out the National Automobile Museum, just wondering what are some of the must-dos in Reno.

    Thanks

    Peppermill

    Downtown
    Eldorado
    Silver Legacy
Circus Circus (only because it's attached to the other two)

    GSR Grand

    Another NGO trip. QQQQ/NYNY

...we were in Reno last week. Love the Peppermill: beautiful property, good odds (BJ, VP), and many different bars and places to eat. Downtown you have the three connected casinos (CC, SL, ELDo) and Harrahs and CalNeva are a short walk away. Was most surprised that almost all places had 9/6 DDB even at the bars. We love hitting the local craft beer places that are only a short walk from the DT casinos...The Depot was our favorite; food was good too.

Virginia City (20-30 minutes away) us usually an interesting diversion. Check it out on the Web.

Check out the Visit Reno forum. It isn't really busy at the moment, but just going down and looking at older topic should give you a pretty good view of Reno's plusses and minuses.

But watch out for John... he's going to suggest going to Shooters. But by all means, avoid that place!
