I was reintroduced to CET and was set up with a regional player development "host" in the Las Vegas area. Does this mean I am coded to him for all Las Vegas properties? I ask because I went through the host again when booking my next trip. However, he says he cannot guarantee a certain tower despite the online booking saying I can. Also, I have offers online for F&B and freeplay that I guess he cannot see? I am just wondering if it is because of his title or if I simply should book online myself instead? It seems odd I can secure a room type and tower but he cannot.

As to play level, I play around $150-$200 / hand if that matters. Just wondering if I should be trying to find a property specific host instead or if it is common for a host to have more restrictions than the online system.

You're able to see your offers and he's not? Sounds more like a marketing executive than a "host". Is there anything specific you need a "host" to do for you? If not, just book the offer online thru the TR website and be done with it. Unless you're looking for anything more than your offers, then you can always contact the casino and ask to speak to a host.

Just a quick note that just because you select a room type doesn't mean you have "secured it", especially when it is comped

If you read through the terms at CET online booking you'll see this:

Now, if he says he can't indicate preference for a certain tower, that's useless. And if the online offer is better, book it. But the website doesn't guarantee a tower.

Thanks for responses. I had never noticed that. Spoke with him and he found me a better offer than what I had available so all is good now. Had just never seen that disclaimer.

I want a host as last trip the host on duty comped quite a bit of the backend (weird thing was they ran credit card for higher amount but then a large chunk disappeared when it actually went through).
