    Hi there, newbie question here-

I have a trip upcoming next week 10/21-10/24. I have already purchased/redeemed the reward for a comp night at Mirage (10/23) and made my reservation back on 8/29 so it has been over 30 days. That reward no longer shows up in my wallet.

I have already purchased a reward for free play as well and have been mulling over what to use my last reward on as I do not have more than the base 3 rewards.

In seeing that the comp night no longer shows up in my wallet and it has been over 30 days since I redeemed it, I was wondering if this means I can purchase and redeem an additional reward? So that would be the comp night, the free play and then 2 more rewards since the comp night was redeemed over 30 days ago.

Or am I overthinking this and I'm still limited to the 90 day redemption period so I'd only get to redeem 3 rewards anyway?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks!

The room night rewards (and show rewards) are considered redeemed on the day (or night) you use them (as in stay in the room or watch the show); not when the reservation was made or the ticket purchased.
So, to answer your question, since you have made the reservation and plan on using a free play, you have one reward remaining to use during your trip.

It will show as redeemed in your wallet. Since you already booked it. But technically, it won't count as being used til you sleep in it, eat it, or for shows, see it. 3 in 30 counts from time of use, not purchase

I booked a room at the Mirage in August with My Vegas points. I'm going back in December, and was not allowed to book another one. The message said I had reached my limit for that reward. Is there a limit of one free night per year or something?

You cant buy the same reward twice unless they changed the price. You have to pick another hotel or pick a different mirage room rewards (2 nights, weekend stay)

Know that even though it says 3, sometimes [content removed and corrected] you might have a higher limit. We actually can redeem 6 in a 30 day period.

Also, make sure to load up your account BEFORE you hit Vegas. Many rewards are NOT available to locals, so if you try purchasing more in Vegas, youll often just have cruddy coffee offers, not buffet or food or anything really worth using. I like to have a bunch of options while in Vegas, so that I can pick and choose, versus planning my trip around the location of my offers.

You can always cancel after your trip. I always load up about 15 pre-trip then just cancel leftovers when I get home. :)

It is not up to the Mlife desk to give you a higher limit. Some players have up to 6 available MGM rewards because of mainly chip purchase. If you can redeem 6, it was based on a lot of money spent on chips!

The biggie that I was trying to highlight was that someone may have more than 3 and it's worth checking, but good clarification so that someone is not annoyed with the Mlife desk.

I just always went off the 3 limit rule and was bummed when I found out I actually had more vouchers I could have used.

You can always check any MLife reward on Facebook for your reward limits. Just click on the reward, scroll to the second page, and check the purchase and usage limitations.

A couple of points I'd like to make.

mLife and Playstudios (the parent company of myVegas) are 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES. They are partners.

Playstudios is the internet gaming presence of mLife. mLife does not "control" the amount of awards that you can get through Playstudios.

The amount of redemptions that you are permitted if you don't purchase chips is three. The maximum is 6. If you spend enough money on chips, you may be offered "host" services.

The host can do things like:

get you awards that are advertised on the website but shown as "exhausted" (0 available).
    arrange for "custom" redemption packages.

If you want to know more about myVegas hosts, they will be at the mLife HGS December event on Friday, December 2nd. I will provide the hours as soon as I know them.

Hey DaiLun! I was wondering why you had it in all caps on "two separate companies," as I absolutely know that MyVegas and MLIFE are totally different companies....but then I re-read my original post.... I HAD written that the "mlife desk can give you more if you check," but that was not at all what I meant. I meant you can check with the mlife desk to SEE if you have more. That's what I get for trying to sneak in some VMB at work and typing in a hurry. ;)

I did ammend the original post so it's more accurate.

But, my point, even though I biffed it on saying it correctly was:

    1) People might be able to redeem more than 3, it's worth checking
    2) load up BEFORE you hit Vegas as you won't have a many offers in Vegas!

PS looking forward to your next trip report!

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack your thread or "diss" you. There was some confusion in the thread about mLife and myVegas, and I just thought I'd set it straight.

DaiLun, you were great, as always. These posts stay forever and I definitely didn't want something up that was inaccurate...I'd much rather have the chance to fix it! And, that's the point of VMB, sharing tips and steering people back on track if a quote is off! I probably shouldn't be trolling VMB at work anyways ;)
