Just a question. Does anyone on this board stay at Red Rock Casino?

I always enjoy my stays there, and just curious as to if anyone else tries this property out?

Seen it mentioned loads of times. Always gets great reviews. Hopefully my next trip I'll be getting over there as it looks great.

yes I've stayed there, back in 2012 however

the resort was great at that time, didn't do too much gambling as I was busy doing a variety of other things (went to a college football game Minn vs. UNLV, hiked Red Rock canyon, etc.) but I felt the place overall was just fine. Enjoyed checking out Summerlin, NV that weekend.

We stay there 3 or 4 times a year and love it. I don't love that they are pretty stingy with comps for non-locals and their tier points expire every six months. Yet, we still go there.

I stayed solo for a few days the week before this past Christmas. It was a great, relaxing time. Enjoyed the vibe and friendly staff. I want to go back again when the weather is warm to try out that pool.

We love Red Rock. We stayed pretty regularly until a couple of years ago they stopped offering free rooms. We still like it enough to stay a couple of nights at $59-$89 a night (offers). Got an offer out of the blue (have not been there since last August) for 3 free nights (no free play or RC's) and will be going 6/15-18! Super excited as this will only be a 3 night trip and all at Red Rock. Did I mention for FREE! LOL! Love the casino and food choices! surrounding area is nice with the downtown Summerlin complex next door. Pool and fitness room are a nice bonus too! Good Luck all!

We stayed there earlier this year. I played video poker (the advantage games) and my wife played mostly VP but also some Buffalo slots. I had far more coin in than she did, but my wife received a mailer with a nice offer and I got zilch. There's a lesson here, I think.

I have been there once a while back but have wanted to go back- it's a really nice place ! Question though- for transportation, are uber drivers willing to take you there and back? I know there is a shuttle but wonder if that is another option just in case!

According to the shuttle driver, uber/lyft will pick you up and take you there and vice versa. But it was still pricey. Not sure, but $40 sticks in my head as what he said. I took the RTC SX Sahara Express bus to the strip. $2. You can also take the Charleston local downtown.

Last I heard they have a free shuttle from Fashion Show mall. I don't know if it's still running or any details because we always have a car but it's worth looking into.

Thanks for all the replies. I have stayed there 4 or 5 times previous on anything from comped to casino rate. I had offers on line for $65 this time.

I called the players club for some info and was given a very nice offer. Totally out of the blue!!!

I know "We love locals" is their thing. That is why I was surprised, and very appreciative.

    I guess I'll be there soon. :)

They still do. I took the bus because it doesn't make it's first run to Fashion Show until almost noon. I wanted to be on the strip by 8:30. All the shuttle drivers were cool. One even gave me some tips on where to find good Hawaiian food.

I love RR. Stay there almost every trip for 2-3 days. Of course, no free offer, no stay. I'm very loyal to price. Love their pool, their spa and I usually take in a movie when there. Oh, and a Ben & Jerry's shake. Too good!

Comps see to be a funny thing. I gambled there once and since then they have been inundating me with offers. I've only stayed there once but keep getting 3 free night offers on a regular basis now. Seems i get a mailer at least once a month (since last October).

We do get comped rooms but not much else. Maybe a little FP and a small amount of resort credit. We sometimes get invited to special events like 4th of July fireworks and NYE but we've been going there since they opened on a regular basis and we get better offers on the strip.

My favorite place in Vegas...period. Like the rooms, food, and feel like I get more play for my money and so far still 3 free nights and some minimal free play and food credit. Now yes I agree I wish the stay offers were more generous for us out of towners and the 6 month tier reset is probably fine for locals but not so for those of us that only get there 2-3 times a year....still if I could only go to one casino/hotel in Vegas this is it for me.
Wife likes Red Rock well enough too but her current love is Cosmo....and I can't blame her as she is in for $900 free play on our next trip.

Station Casinos have been very good with their comp offers for me lately and I'm not exactly sure why but I'll take it.

Since this thread is full of Red Rock fans. The tubs at Red Rock are great for my back. Are there any strip properties that have tubs as deep and long, but without jets? Appreciate any info.
