Not sure what happened between yesterday (5/8/17) and today (5/9/17). But rates for my dates went down a quite a bit on the D website. YMMV.

    Yesterday it was 9/29 - $129, 9/30 - $139, 10/1 - $49. Total of $317

    Today it is 9/29 - $95.20, 9/30 - $103.20, 10/1 - $39.20. Total of $237.60

This is actually cheaper than what I was quoted for casino rate when I called the D.

I tried calling the D host that quoted me the original casino rate, but he is off until Thursday. So I just booked online.

Are you sure one quote isn't without the resort fee, the other with?

Wow. That still seems a lot to me. I am cheap though.

    Sorry

Both prices listed above were directly from their website. And they do not include resort fees and taxes.

When I called to get casino rate before the room price dropped, the quote I got from the host was about 25% less than the website rate. $239 vs $317 (room only)

I tried calling back but the host was not there yesterday. I wanted to see if casino rate dropped because of the website rate. If it's the same percentage, then the new casino rate should be $178.
