I see peoples posts about Boyd sending out offers. I have 105,000 tier credits. Expire in May. But will be renewed as I earned 91,000 in January.

So i keep checking and have no offers. In January of 2017 i put about $40,000 coin in over 5 days. Mostly $10 slots. Even a few $100 pulls. Lost around $2500.

Then a few weeks later i played at Fremont. Only earmed 9000 points. But had a $4000 loss. In only a few hours.

Maybe I just need to call a host. But i hate dealing with em.

    I feel I'm getting cheated

Question: Have you been checking your Bconnected account online, or just relying on mailed offers?

something is not right. if you have nothing online at Bconnected, I would make some calls. did you do something to get "no-mailed"? did you win too much, or look like an AP? did you take advantage of and offer and NOT give them any play during your stay? do you only play on days with point multipliers?

I just got several offers of 3 days in july ,and/or aug(good at any of the dt places), my tier pts are 6k(some did expire), something is wrong if your not getting offers at 105K.

Totally agree with Merlin. I am lowly Sapphire at Boyd and I have offers
all over the map. You should be getting tons of offers. I'd call - obviously some
    glitch somewhere.

Interestingly enough, my wife has been Sapphire for a couple of years and I achieved Emerald in February for the first time and I don't see much difference in our offers. I thought they would assign a host to assist me in losing more of my money, but so far, they don't seem interested. I wish I could say my Profit/Loss reports from their casinos were in my favor, but they are not.

Even though a host hasn't contacted you, host services are one of your privileges. Touch base with one on your next trip.

I just looked online. No offers.

Had a problem with Sams towns with Sams town a couple years ago. Maybe that's the problem. They said over comp. But come on. This is ridiculous i best get something. All the casinos do is take from me. Never in the positive.

Definitely will call a host and see what's up.

    Thanks for all the responses.

I'd so think i must have something after $4000 loss on slots. Haven't played since then. Do you think they haven't done offers from January play?

My offers have increased from my April play, so I am thinking January data is in the books.

As many have said in other posts in other forums, it is not how much you lose but how; blackjack 100$ a hand for 24 hours over 3 days or penny (apparently) slots for 24 hours over 3 days, or less than 1 hour betting big at anything. You can lose the same amount over the same period of time but be viewed quite differently on paper / computer screen.
Not saying it's right but it seems fairly accurate.

At last, and finally it's close.

Exactly this. That is why they run theoretical losses and use that for comps. Basically it is what they can expect to squeeze out of you based on how much you play through and on what.

If you lose $1000 over the course of 6 hours playing max bet penny slots, your coin in might be $10,000. That is money cycled through. The casino knows you play pennies, with a hold of 10%, so your Average daily Theoretical loss (or gain to the casino) is $1000. They usually return a third of that to the player via comps, $333. Might be a free room for 2 nights valued at $100 per day + $100 in free play and 2 free buffets.

If you lose $1000 betting $100 at a time on Black Jack and wipe out on 10 straight hands over 10 minutes of play. You are rated at next to nothing even though you matched losses with the penny slot player.

By using ADT and not actual losses you can actually win in a casino AND still get all of the comps.

Don't be intimidated to reach out to a host, every Boyd host I have ever talked to is more than helpful, and frankly I have never been told no. You also seem like a much more valuable player to them than me...I don't have as much coin in, and stay away from slots (VP only).

I am not sure what Boyd's is up to, experimenting maybe. I have the bconnected offer online for july/aug, and I made 2 bookings from that. cool. today I got a postcard in the mail -- now-june 30th, 3 comp nights and $10 slot dollars with $10 food credit at any of the usual 7 properties. on the other side it says "we'd like to thank you for your recent visit with this bonus vacation package" I am a sucker for a "free" room, but it is such a short notice with a short window. anyway, I hope they keep the offers coming. the best marketing people in vegas are the ones that understand that the best lure is the "free" room. even though, as we all know, it is not really free. :usa:

    Same thing here!

    So bizarre.

I had given up hope - glad I didn't "stiff" them on my last visit. We considered it, but decided to pretty much play our normal amount and see what the future would bring. So far the future has been pretty good!

I don't have a host, but I called to switch my MSS to Cal(this was before they made offers for all 3 downtown for same comp) and got upgraded to a suite at Cal by Ipo and an extra free day. 5 nights comped. Call them, call them, call them

Same with me. I got the postcard the other day.

I couldn't believe it when my May-June offer was reduced to two comp nights only for May or June when my bi-monthly offer had been three comp nights plus $20 food each month. I used it for two nights of a three-night stay two weekends ago.

My first thought after seeing the postcard was they must have heard an earful from many disgruntled customers about the comp offer cutbacks, and this was a way to try to make amends. Then I wondered if I got the postcard because I just made Sapphire on my recent trip. Apparently, that's not the case.

Maybe corporate is trying to figure out the right balance. The July-August offer I received is for three comp nights, $10 food, and $10 free slot play for each month, so I'm back to where I was before. For now.
