That is brilliant.
Someone posted it early this morning on the FB group - 84 comments so far. Most of them appreciative.
Now that's funny. I guess they spend time subbing it as opposed to playing....
Thanks everyone for watching!
I really enjoyed reading all of the kind comments I got on here, youtube, and facebook. I had been keeping my eye on them during a busy day today, and I really do enjoy reading through them. And thanks to Eddie Wong for re-posting on facebook. I thought someone would, but I didn't expect so soon.
I learned from the facebook comments that Swiss actor Hugo Ganz (the main character in video) passed away in 2019. He was widely praised internationally for really nailing that very difficult role, while all I did was another sloppy job of adding badly butchered English subtitles to a foreign movie. (But in my warped mind, I thought were funny....)
I gently name-checked two youtubers (sp?) in the video, and both of them actually left positive comments. I only meant respect when I added their names, and was actually humbled by their responses. And Robert thanks for your kind comments also. I know the video might be straddling the line with your group's new policy of no ranting about the changes, but I would sure appreciate it if you leave the video thread alive until it's natural death. Thanks again for all you do!
So many levels of amazing. Thank you.
Thanks, I enjoyed that.
Made my morning! Wasn’t much of a Wynn player (I wasted my time on comp city, and that’s another story). Excellent point on sharing all those “hints” (some may call them hacks). Ah well, back to reality, where my gambling bankroll is down 20% in a week, because of the flu, or something like that.
OMG I'm practically crying from laughing so hard. Best line was that he wanted to try the $20 trick. LOLOLOL
Great job it is fantastic. You nailed it in so many ways.
Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.
Always funny to have the meme stuff, but on the subjest of the rant, probably misguided to place the game on people talking about the deal. Abuse or no abuse, it was always a limited time deal that would get progressively worse.
Amazing video man, I've seen this video dubbed before many years ago to express similar dismay at some other unrelated thing, which gave me a half-chuckle. This got me to really laugh though
These changes suck compared to the original version of the game... but it makes good business sense. Requiring $200 of spend to book a room on the game is effectively the same thing as charging the resort fee ($200 / 4 nights = $50 per night). As long as they only avail room inventory that's likely to go unsold anyway, they'll cover their hard costs with the knowledge that "qualified" gamblers will be occupying those rooms, which is sure to have a certain yield in the casino.
Understood, and I most certainly do respect your side. I also saw a few facebook comments bothered by the same thing. I will say that I only threw this together in fun, with no intent to offend anyone.
If it's worth anything, the two you-tubers I called out by name both found the video, and told me they enjoyed it and are encouraging all there followers to watch it also....
Yes, anyone who sends Wynn Slots money is clearly gambling, because they Wynn Slots can just change the terms again.
However, I genuinely don't think they change the terms because they want to, but that they just couldn't sustain all the free rooms and buffets they were giving away.
Boy, I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at the Wynn Slots offices, wherever they are, as I know this video made it there by now....
Oh there's no question its funny.
It's staying unless Eddie takes it down. I've seen far more off-topic stuff come up.
If you get bored, maybe do one about MV...
