I hope I can gather my thoughts together and get a real TR posted, but wanted to get some moments on "paper" while they were still relatively fresh:

It is possible to have too many limo rides, believe it or not. They were all fun in different ways, but most of them blended so much into the others than I barely remember which was which.

Birthday kisses: Got many smooches. Got one from Blackjack and actually remembered it this year! And as soon as it happened, I remembered the one from last year (finally), just like a case of deja vu. Props to Al for realizing, correctly, that our first attempt did suck and for making it right. That was funny. I was fortunate to get my birthday kiss from Larry prior to his hitting the Jagerbombs. Can't say the same about Terry... And, Sin kicks all your asses in the kissing department!!! I didn't get a smooch from Angy, but I got two really gorgeous earrings as a present - I actually felt bad because that afternoon I had bought myself something I've always wanted, diamond earrings. I would have instantly put on one of Angy's beautiful pairs otherwise.

There were several people I feel I didn't see enough of... Sticky, Ross, Angy, Ron are among them. Only one person I saw too much of - Don D. (don't take that as a slam on Don... he's cool... those who were there know what I'm talking about :ssst: ) Finally getting to meet Patti and Chef were among the highlights. And it was great to see so many of my online friends again - although there were so many it was sometimes dizzying.

As mentioned in another thread, the poker tournament was a smashing success! I really love it that Bill won the whole thing for fish everywhere!

Forgetting to eat is not a good thing, especially when alcohol is involved, although I'm very grateful that I was never actually badly hungover. Had good bites at Trattoria del Lupo (Mandalay Bay), Commanders Palace and Pinot Brasserie. Ate twice at Binions coffeeshop and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I am ashamed to say where I ate "brunch" on Saturday morning because of forgetting to eat dinner Friday night and being famished as the poker tournament approached.... McDonald's at the Plaza. Ouch. I still love Grand Lux though!

The Junior suite I had at Plaza (South tower, room 1154) wasn't bad at all. It was very spacious, and although there were some stains in the carpeting and it was clearly past its prime, it was clean and comfortable. Yeah, Wynn beats it handily, but for Downtown, I didn't think the Plaza was bad at all.

Hey RFT? If you actually showed up, I never got to say hi. The poker tourney was fun figuring out who was who.

More to come later - along with a few previously unpublished pictures.

One more...

Being sung "Happy Birthday" to by a table full of friends was simultaneously embarrassing and too cool for words. I just gotta tell ya'll though: keep your day jobs! :nworthy:

Becky

Thanks for the phone calls. It was great to at least talk to you folks while you were in the thick of it!

Hey....check out my countdown! My turn!

Have a great time Bosco!! Just don't be too surprised when you get a call at o'dark-thirty when I'm heading to work!! Naw, you'll still be up. I'll call you when I'm at lunch :evillaugh

Becky,

Great talking to you during the trip. Sounds like MM met or exceeded expectations. Looking forward to the ugly details (and different perspectives).

Some pictures and more thoughts...

After lunch at Grand Lux with Patti and Sin, we wandered around Venetian and found music at La Scena. They were putting out some good danceable oldies at first, so we stopped. We bailed when they went slow music on us since we were in the mood to boogie.

Now we know why Mikey shaves his head...

How many fit in a Luv Tub at Imperial Palace? Glad you asked!

Sin, if this lawyer thing doesn't work out, you have a bright future ahead as a masseuse!

Bill was totally shaking after winning the poker tourney on Saturday. I said to him "Bill, will your hands stop shaking enough to play golf on Sunday?" Bill: I play golf on Monday
me: Bill, will your hands stop shaking enough to play golf on Monday? :haha:

Becky, it was good to see you again. I thought I sang pretty darn good damn it....don't most drunks that sing thing they sound great? :D

Waiting on the next trip...

Becky Becky Becky!! From the time I posted I was coming to MM3 till the time u left u took me under your wing and made me feel welcome. I can't thank you enough for everything u did to make this one of the if not the best Vegas Vacation I have had. Your friendship is truly treasured.

I was just thinking this morning of how little gambling I did overall during MM3. I really only played in a handful of casinos - how does this strike you for bipolar? Plaza, LVC, Golden Gate, Wynn, Mirage, Venetian. Al and I strived mightily to play some blackjack at Mandalay but the table limits made him unhappy. More time was spent in limos, at suites, in bottles, etc. Not saying that's a bad thing, but kind of unusual for a pseudo gambling trip.

Oh, and one more trip memory came to me today - thanks to Jer for (more or less) patiently waiting for 3 drunk chicks to get tired of trying on the world's ugliest pimp hats for half an hour outside Harrahs. Why did no one get pictures of this, though, that's what I wanna know.

I know how you feel. I was a no show much of the time. Some personal problems & way too much alcohol to compensate for them made this trip rather different (for lack of a better word). I'm glad you remembered the kiss this time even though I'm sure that I wasn't on my A-game. Hopefully next time we'll spend some more quality time together.

It was good to see you again, hope to catch up with you on one of your upcoming trips... The pictures are a riot, thanks for capturing so many one of kind moments.

Sure Steve! Check the MM4 sticky in get togethers....we've moved the dates for 2007!:poke:

So Steve, we want to throw a get together on 3/22/006 for MM4. Hows about you donate the suite for a night, and you can come meet us then? Sound good buddy?

Oh yeah, all particpants get to wear WYNN robes free of charge.

Also, make sure there is an ice machine nearby.:wink2:
