Its been 4 years today since we lost one of the most gifted musicians of our time. Did anyone catch the Prince shows he did in Vegas? I wanted to go, but never made it.

No, but for a while they did a Prince tribute show in the casino lounge at the old Boardwalk.

WOW has it only been 4 years? Seems like he’s been gone longer.

I was sad at his death because help was literally on the way to only be too late. Such a loss

He was really great, I saw him at Madison Square Garden on one of this tours (I think it was 2011) and it was such a good show. He is definetly missed.

Always wanted to see him at the Rio but it never worked out plus I had always read his shows started whenever he was ready which some nights could be early in the morning. Definitely regret not seeing him now, although I was fan girling when I saw him at the WNBA championship in Minneapolis in 2015 I think.

I went to watch Purple Reign at the Trop last trip. He gives a pretty good show but it’s way too big of a theatre for an impersonator show.

I did get to tour Paisley Park after his death. His chef still was working there and we got to eat. Loved every minute of it.

There’s a tv special on CBS tonight, Grammy Salute to Prince, taped earlier this year in January, 2 days after the Grammys.

Purple Reign is the show that has bounced around Vegas for years. My niece and I went 5 years ago and it was a great show, lots of fun and the music was awesome.

I was lucky enough to see him on tour a couple of times. Just sorry I never caught the Rio shows. I also heard they were frequently late starting, but I just accept that as Prince being Prince. If I recall, the residency ended much sooner than it was supposed to and I figure that’s why.

Was that around 1986? If so, I was there too!

I would attend the Billboard Awards show and he performed at one of them for his Icon award! I truly valued the experience.

He performed at The Aladdin in 2002. You can watch the show here and say you were there.
