We're going to try Cosmo's Wicked Spoon Buffet this trip. :feedme:
Thinking about looking around and trying out the slots here and there.
Any tips/suggestions on the easiest walking route over to Aria?
We haven't been since the properties first opened and want to take a look around.
    Thanks.

Wicked Spoon is in the west tower. From there, go the ground floor and exit out the back. Outside, there is a staircase (or elevator) just behind Cosmo that takes you up to the walkway between Aria and Vdara. That walkway takes you to the Aria north valet

Although I do prefer the route UKFanatic mentions, you may want to consider going through Crystals if you have not been. I gather from your question you want to explore the two resorts. Consider walking through Cosmo casino towards Las Vegas Blvd; take the escalator up around the Chandelier Bar. Once on the 2nd level exit the walking bridge over to Crystals. Walk through Crystals towards Aria - follow signage. If you stick to the right side in Crystals, it is a faster walk into Aria.

Oh yeah, I thought OP was looking for the shortest route. This route is definitely more interesting with more to see (and its not really that much longer)

Just don't go wrong way in crystals or you will walk a lot more!

Along with the possibility of wrong turns, going through Crystals is a longer hike than we anticipated, and we were fooled once or twice into thinking we were at Aria when we weren't there yet. This was in December when Cosmo still had free parking. We were passing through Vegas on our way to winter quarters and schlepped two months' worth of luggage all the way from the Cosmo parking deck. It's amazing what some people (us) will do to save ten bucks. :)

I take a cab or Uber for quick. Lol I won't walk from Venetian to Bally's either.

There have been a bunch of threads on this already.

In short: Exit Cosmo near the check in area/parking garage, walk towards Vdara, then either take the stairs or elevator up one level. You will then walk the sidewalk over to Aria. Don't listen to the other posters about taking a cab/Lyft/Uber, it's much too close.

I can attest to these directions - thanks to @spicole ! You and others gave excellent tips last year. We tried it from Aria to Cosmo in reverse schlepping our luggage and it was quick and easy, took less than 10 minutes door to door.
Note you do need to be cautious exiting/entering the Cosmo parking garage as there are a lot of vehicles traveling in several directions as you enter/leave. Use the elevator if you have luggage - it's kind of hidden. We use it now as a quick shortcut between the two!

The directions via the parking garage are great.

If you are already in the east tower close to the strip, then through Crystals works just fine as well - especially if it is hot. And, no stairs - keep in mind the elevator next to Vdara sometimes does not work.

Once we got to our room at Aria, we could see this possibility, but did not see anybody actually doing it. Our room had a view toward Vdara. The crookedness is rather disconcerting.
