I was out and about this afternoon and I was downtown so I figured I might as well donate $20 to the good of the local economy, so I bopped on over to the local Ameristar.

I got a beverage, sat down at **MY** machine, VP of course, which was vacant as they always save it for me.

About half way into my (losing) :( session I noticed one significant difference! The machine next to me was on, working, and ready for play! No, it was not marked "Out Of Service" or had yellow police tape across it or anything.

I took a quick look around, and yes, all machines were on, working, and available.

This had to have been within the last couple of weeks, 'cuz last time I was there, it was definitely every other machine off.

Hey dmr, did you happen to notice if bartop VP was open? I'm thinking about an April trip to Council Bluffs but would like to be able to enjoy some DDB at the bar. (As well as hit up The Pink Poodle!)

I think it is, but I'm not 100% sure. I will check for sure next time I'm in, which may be this weekend, actually. I seem to recall that when I went to get a beverage at the main floor bar, there were people sitting there. I assume they were playing, but next time in I will pay more attention.

Ok, I just got back from donating another $20 to stimulate the local economy.

This is for Ameristar. The bar top VP is most definitely ON and working with people playing. The bar stools are no longer socially distanced, although this could easily be people moving them closer together.

I overheard one of the security guys saying to a customer that they are now allowed 100% capacity, so no more of the waiting until somebody comes out on peak evenings.
