    Hi all,

Might do a last minute trip and considering Flamingo.

I know they were or are in the middle of a big renovation. My son doesn't do well with paint smells, lots of dust, etc...

What's the current state of the Flamingo? It may not be worth the hassle if they're doing a bunch of cleaning and construction.

    Thanks thanks thanks!

Generally resorts contain weird construction smells and dust. Only issue is they can't do much about noise.

Thanks for the quick feedback everyone. Appreciate it.

Sounds like there won't be an issue (even without the hat).

What been announced is just a remodel of just a third of the rooms. They could potentially do the entire resort but they haven't confirmed what's in Robin Leach's report.

I know the room reno is coming (woohoo!) but for now, I got back from the ol' bird yesterday and you wouldn't have know a thing was going on. Didn't see a single sign of any construction/renovation anywhere. Stayed on the 27th floor if that matters.

I think they're leaving the Go's alone and doing all the very dated Fab's.

Good news is when I was there in April the elevators had finally been reno'd. There's a ton of them now and they no longer inspire terror.

I remember I used to have to wait, like, 12 minutes, just to get inside an elevator.
