Didn't see anything posted on them but if you travel to the Quad Cities which are on the Illinois Iowa border you can visit 3 casinos all within a 15 minute drive. All 3 are now land based casinos with decent machines and I found them to not be too tight. Anyone else have opinions on them?

 i visited many years ago. the one in Bettendorff was the one i liked the best. didn't the one in Davenport have a walkway/bridge over the street?? can not remember anything about the one in Illinois. is it in Moline?? very much liked the buffet and atmosphere in Bettendorff. had to ask my wife, 2004 last visit.

They have changed completely since your last visit. The one in Illinois moved off the river and moved to a larger land based casino. The other two casinos in Iowa also moved from boats to an actual casino. Both of them opened up in 2016 in their new homes and are really nice. The one in Illinois Jumers is still the best in my opinion.

Haven't been to rhythm city since they moved but anything would have been an upgrade from the boat, really like jumers though.

:nworthy: thank Publius, don't know if I will ever make it back. I have 1 friend that lives about 2 hrs away. if I ever visit him again will try them again. u brought back my memories. Jumers was farthest away from our hotel, isle of capri was near our hotel, had better food (for us) and the one in Davenport was also a short drive. good luck on all your adventures.:beer:

We have been to Jumers twice. The second time we spent one night on a comp. It was during the week, don't remember what day though. They are pretty stingy when it comes to check-in time. There was one desk clerk that seemed to be running the show. I think check-in was at 3 or 4 AND NOT A MINUTE SOONER!! Rooms were nice, nothing flashy. VP is actually not to bad for an Illinois casino. I haven't been to the other two, yet. I would love to hear some reviews on Isle of Capri and Rhythm City.
