Has anyone had this issue before? About 3 month ago I purchased 2 rewards, one for a lunch buffet at the Mirage the other for a dinner buffet at the Mirage. I used both of them about 45 days ago.
I have another trip coming up soon and decided to buy the same comps. I got an error saying there was an issue with waiting period, I double checked the days and everything seemed ok, I ended up submitting 2 tickets last week to MyVegas and no response.
I found a number online and called it and the woman tried to tell me that I could only use it once every 2 years, she was obviously clueless. She calls her supervisor and comes back and says 'we see no reason why you can't purchase this'...'but we can't help you, you have to contact PlayStudios'... I say 'I thought you MyVegas and PlayStudios were the same? And I did contact them last week but I am getting no response'... that was basically her solution.
So I get another number for PlayStudios, this woman on the phone tells me that I have to email her, even though I sent them 2 tickets already.

Has anyone else ever had this issue and been bounced around like this trying to get it resolved? It's a real sh1tty system they have going on in my opinion. So far everyone I have spoken to on the phone seems miserable and that they are doing me a favor by even talking to me.., what a clusterflock.

The terms say you can only use most rewards once. The catch is that when they change prices etc on it the reward becomes unique and you can essentially use it again. Sounds like you're stuck trying to use the same rewards and therefor no go on the terms.

I guess you're right but to be honest that's the most ridiculous rule ever. What's the point of even playing if you can't use the same reward for a restaurant that you like. If they come back to me with that same answer my days of chip hoarding, spinning the wheel, picking the card, shooting the hi/lo card, etc are done.
I understand a time limit on when I can get more rewards but once per lifetime is pathetic, unless they gods that be change the amount of the reward. Completely asinine.

I just went in to try to check the "verbage" on those buffets but they are sold out. I did go in to the one that is BOGO and that one is limited to one per person so i'm pretty sure that is your problem.

I get that same message when I try to buy the $50 drink credit at NYNY pianos, but I've purchased the $50 Monte Carlo food credit a couple times in the past and using it again in a couple weeks ...

After 5 days of sending tickets, emails, and phone calls. I finally got a response back from MyVegas/PlayStudios. The above posts are correct, we're basically only allowed to use the comp once per player. Personally I think this is the most ridiculous thing ever. From what everyone here says, mLife is all above keeping play inside the casino/hotel where you got comped. So being that I am loyal to the Mirage, and I want to spend my LoyaltyPoints on a buffet, it would make sense to let me go back to Cravings in the Mirage. But now since I have to use my points at the Bellagio or Aria, guess what casinos I'll be spending my money in prior to and after the buffet? It won't be the Mirage, it will be whatever hotel's buffet I just ate it, out of convenience.
    This rule should be changed.

You are allowed to purchase the same reward more than once. However, you can only purchase the reward once from any particular 'batch' for that reward. The difficulty is knowing when a new batch of rewards is applied. If you see a new price for any reward you can assume its a new batch but they replace them other times also. I've redeemed several rewards more than once and in some cases three times. The only way to know for sure is to attempt a purchase. I believe they do this to attract as many uniques visitors as possible. If you were able to purchase multiples of the same rewards in a short period of time you would be able to redeem quite a few of them on the same trip.

Everything ND80 said is spot on. If you can buy it (even if you have used it before), you are good. If you get the error that you are at your purchase limit for that reward, you have to wait.

FWIW, my husband and I have each used the $50 Monte Carlo credit 4 times in the last year. However, we last purchased it in March and used it in May and are unable to get a new one to this day. We last purchased the Bellagio lunch buffet reward in November and used it in November and are unable to get that one too. So, I think they are beginning to tighten the new "batches" going forward. I actually wish some of the popular ones would go up in LP because I am running out of GOOD rewards I haven't already used.

    Can only use rewards once?

Went to Vegas in April and redeemed rewards for two Bellagio lunch buffets.

Going again in Sept-went to redeem same-game wouldn't let me-got message maximum used for this reward

Can only use the rewards once in a lifetime?

You can use rewards more than once but they have to be from different batches. MLife releases a limited number of each reward to MyVegas for use in particular batches to encourage people to try different places and to lye enough unique people to try the rewards. It's very difficult to know when any reward's batch is changed but if you see a price change that is a good indication that they have. They also do it periodically so you just have to keep trying. Still plenty of time left so there's a good chance a new batch will come out before your trip.

I've used some rewards three times so it can be done. Just have to space them out enough.

Bought a Monte Carlo brunch buffet in December and just got shot down trying to buy it again. Great value for a solo trip.

It seems that some of the items can be repurchased and others can not. I was able to buy Tender at Luxor last year and this year as well.

Hate to be contrarian but if they limit some of the popular comps to one per player, perhaps the complaints in the "the reward I want is always sold out" category will go down.
