Pull tabs and point multipliers at Downtown Grand

There are a couple of nice promotions winding down at Downtown Grand that I was able to use last Saturday. Through the 24th, you earn a pull tab for every 500 points ($1000 coin-in for video poker). I won $5 free play with one pull tab, and $10 free play on another. You need to pick up your pull tabs between 10 AM and 10 PM.

Also, they have 5X point multipliers on Fridays and Saturdays through the 24th (so just one weekend left). You don't earn the pull tabs any faster, but it does mean you can earn 1% (instead of 0.2%) in free play for video poker.

I did that the first day of promo. Had 3 pulltabs. Two $5 free play and t-shirt. Sooo cheap. Lady at promo booth said she saw $50 in free play on first day.

Make sure you watch your points carefully. One buffalo machine i was playing at $3.75 a pop. Certainly was not giving 5 times. Then on a keno machine it would give me between 5 and 8 times. Lol
