Myself, Mrs. LV and a group of others are venturing to Puerto Rico this September around Labor Day. This part of the trip is leg one. After 5 nights in PR we'll go to Vegas for 5 more nights. I know English is spoken and the currency is USD. I've done a fair amount of footwork in scouting reviews on Tripadvisor, watching the various travel shows on PR and asking around. I tend to defer to the collective experience of this forum on most things travel-related and once more I ask...
    1. Where to stay?
    2. What to see?
    3. Restaurants?
    4. Crowded beaches?
    5. Anything I need to know?

    Thanks.

Just came back from San Juan PR pre and post Cruise we stayed extra days here. Best part for us was walking the El Yunque Rainforest. It is beautiful there. Not sure of the health and shape of ones in your group but if you do go be ready for about a couple miles walking, depending on how you get there. Tour guide or taxi. But that falls is gorgeous.
