    My Trip Report

    OK...11 days to go.
Buddy trip. 4 of us. Two virgins. This will be my third trip. First one was about a year ago, then took my wife in July. Fly out of Indy, non stop on Monday morning and return on Friday evening. Staying at Flamingo, 4 nights.Got a great deal. $40.00 a night. No major plans. Just hanging out and having a good time. Saw the big shows I wanted to see last time. Any suggestions for good afternoon shows? Checking out Big Elvis. Loved him last time. Heading downtown at least one night. Gotta visit the El Cortez. My favorite place for craps. Looking for Multi strike VP, just to check it out. Going to meet Pattiinontario and others at the brew pub at MC on Monday afternoon. Also looking forward to watching the Reds play opening day in their new stadium from one of the sports books(which one??) Will be there on my birthday. That could turn into a very frightening event. I'll be betting hard eights in honor of myself! Trying to figure out where to do the birthday dinner(???) Want to check out Orleans this time. Can't wait!!! Been a rough couple of weeks at work. Hoping to have some of Mikey's Luck with me(only the gambling part!!)

    Any last minute suggestions??

I'll be sure to give everyone a full report!!

Well here's a suggestion since you will be at the Flamingo. Go to the Carnival Bar outside of Harrah's. That place was a hoot when we went in April 2002. They have live bands who are loads of fun to watch and the crowd gets going.

Enjoy your trip and looking forward to a trip report.

Bosco, Thanks for your reply to my pre-trip report on Friday, I hope to get to the Second City. What I think is the best afternoon show in LV is the Mac King Comedy Magic Show at Harrahs. We got 2 for 1 tickets by listening to a 15 minute condo pitch. (well worth it) This show will give you a stomach ache you'll laugh that much. What time is the meet at Monte Carlo since we will be there also? My bags are packed and I'm ready to enjoy a week away from the office win lots and have fun.

My suggestion for a place to catch the game would be either Mandalay Bay or Bellagio - great sportsbooks!

Don't know about any afternoon shows though.
