Psychopath killing homeless downtown Vegas

Two homeless men were "bludgeoned to death" earlier this year.
Police set up a mannequin decoy to look like a homeless person sleeping.
Dude walks up, looks around and blasts it in the head with 4 pound hammer.
Says he knew it was a mannequin before he hit it.

I hope they got the right guy, what a piece of garbage.

 

So many scumbags in the world.

Must be horrible being homeless and having to sleep rough without some piece of crap having his sick thrills.

 

Can they charge attempted murder if the guy was convinced it was a person?

 

That's really messed up.

The state can most definitely charge him. His defense is that he knew it was a mannequin, so they only have to convince a jury otherwise. If they can tie him to the other attacks then he's got much more than a single attempted murder charge to deal with!

 

Good job by detectives.

 

If the guy would have beat up some buskers, he would be a hero.

 

Hopefully, having found him and his weapon, they can forensically link him to the other murders.

Or has CSI and Dexter been lying to me all these years?
