High-Roller
i intend to stay on top of things every trip and fail miserably every trip. i'll try to do a bit better this time.
we are flying out on a luxury airline tonight, frontier airlines. i've been sitting on lawn chairs for the past week to get my body ready for the four hour flight. i'll take a dvd player and some movies with me and the four hours will fly right by. i really couldn't pass up the airfare as my rt fare was only 150.
four of us will be going. me, my brother Shon who is a regular travel companion, Stalder who has went with us three times in the last year and a young guy named Mike (i consider 30 young) who i work with. i hope to expose him to lots of gambling, drinking, cussing and lying.
we are going on an offer from CET for a playoff party at the flamingo. normally the flamingo isn't the first place that would come to mind to watch the games but i figure the books will be pretty full and i like the idea of having a seat to watch the games. they are supposed to have some food and prizes also so we will see what happens. if it sucks, we will just leave.
we are staying at Harrahs. i contacted my host who emailed me to inform me she moved on to another property. my last stay at harrahs was less than stellar as the room was very worn. my host said she would pass along our info to another host and try to get us into connected remodeled rooms. this might have just been lip service, guess we will find out tonight.
