A buffet is on the cards for one night and the only real requirement is Prime Rib and Peeled ready to eat shrimp. Where should we go for this and get it at a good price ? Thanks in advance !

You’ll find some major price changes on buffets in the 6 years you have been away

No doubt in my mind I will suffer sticker shock I'm prepared for it. That's why I'm asking here where I can get the best value for what I'm looking for despite the prices being higher thanks

I think he'll find major price changes on just about everything imaginable. 6 yrs ago in Vegas this time, is more like 30.

And business is very good there, which means prices won't be going down anytime soon.

Most decent buffets have prime rib and peeled shrimp on the strip....a big deciding factor will be how you like your prime rib...rare, med-rare, medium, etc.

Bellagio had some really, really good rare/med rare prime rib last time we ate there , pic below. (I know, half-eaten and slathered in horseradish...I'm not the best food photographer :))

Aria's was good, but more medium rare to medium. Wicked Spoon aways has great food.

I could be way off, but I've personally found the more expensive buffets are more on the rare/medium rare side on prime rib, cheaper buffets tend to be a little more medium to medium well.

All seem to have copious amounts of shrimp, and usually peeled options.

I think if you tell other VMBers how you like your prime rib cooked, that will help them guide you.

I'm excited for your trek back to Vegas, and have a great trip!

Thank you for your quick reply I prefer it rare enough to get to the table under its own power :)

If you go to the Luxor buffet, some ideas from six years ago might still be out on the line...
Wishing you a glorious return to Vegas! :D

Mirage dinner buffet has both, plus free beer, so takes a bit of the sting off the price. Also a 2-1 in the LVA

It does have both of these items, but sadly isn't in the LVA book any more
