So my buddy calls as says he's flying out to LA and going to try to work in a 1-2 day layover in Vegas, and can I get away for a couple days? gee, let me think about it... h*ll yes!
We were going to go in February, but he bailed due to financial considerations - after I'd already bought my plane ticket. I went anyway and had a good time, but this time it was: call me when you've got your air reservations.
Gonna mainly be just over 48 hours of drunken downtown debauchery (staying at the LVC), but I'm sure we'll wind up debauching on the strip at some point too. There's a bunch of stuff I'd like to get to (mostly places ending in the word 'Lounge': Casbar, Icehouse, Sky, Island, Ava...), but with such a short time frame, who knows. Just excited to be going.
