You might want to try the spa at the Orleans. It's very nice and the prices are reasonable. [IMG]

    Have a great trip!

A lot of members here gripe about a bj newbie sitting next to them and making them lose money. I don't want to piss any bj veterans off, but tuff. You got to learn somehow. And the best way is to sit down at a real bj table and a real dealer and learn. Practicing at home or on your pc is cool, but its not the real thing. Just start out at a $1 table(Sahara) and stick to basic strategy. Invest in a basic strategy card. They really come in handy. You can get them at alot of souvenir shops around the strip.

    Hey Paula...

Glad I was your inspiration to play the dice... I hope it makes you rich! You should try blackjack while you're there. At the Imperial Palace, they usually have plenty of $3 tables during the day, so don't worry about pissing somebody off. If they were such a pro, they wouldn't be playing a $3 table at the IP, right??? Besides, if you're unsure what to do, ask the rest of the people at the table...I'm sure they'll tell you what's up.

Hmmm...Imperial Palace, 99-cent shrimp cocktails, craps, blackjack, yard-long drinks... This trip sounds vaguely familiar...

    Hey Paula have fun!

If you get a chance while you are at Aladdin try the Cheeseburger at the Oasis. YUMMY! Good food for your money!

Weren't a whole lot of BJ tables that I was at on the last trip where the other folks even knew basic strategy (or cared). Probably depends where you're playing, but especially at lower limit tables folks are just playing for fun. A little BJ practice on the computer beforehand helps too.

As far as low limit tables, tho, I didn't see anything less than $3, including Sahara (afternoon, midweek) and El Cortez, and at that, finding a seat at the lowest limit can be a challenge. I'd recommend Sahara or almost any North Strip place, Imperial Palace mid-strip, and Fitzgerald's or the Golden Gate downtown.

Four Queens downtown has a $2 BJ table, but it's always crowded, needless to say. :(

    A lot of good plans.
Don't be shy and give bj a try. IP is a fun place to play anytime of the day. If anyone gives you a hard time, tell them that they're ass is not glued to the seat! There are plenty of high limit tables for those experts that complain about losing $3.
    GOOD LUCK!

I will say it ONE MORE TIME.It DOES NOT MATTER what other people at the table do when you are playing blackjack....PERIOD!!! It is 50/50 as to whether them making a terrible move hurts the table or helps it.Problem is,these same people never seem to notice when it helps. So play as much BJ as you want and don't worry what anyone says. If I am playing next to you and someone says something trust me I will say something back to them.Have a great time and I hope to see you at the LVC craps meet!!
