Pre trip report for July 14-19

I'll be leaving on SW, July 14 -19 compliments of a SW voucher. That's good and there is $ still on the voucher. My stay is at the Rio, my first stay in Vegas back in the early 90's amazing that I haven't been back to the Rio since and there is no particular reason(s). If, I weren't at the Rio it would probably be at the Orleans. The nights are less than $20pn and have CET credits to pay for the room and no resort fee(s). So right now I'm off to a good start. Being that the heat will be so oppressive I'll be spending minimal time at the pool as I'm a big fan of air conditioning especially in really high temps. More later.

Have fun Bernie !! Nice that you you had that SWA voucher for a free flight, plus the CET credits to get a room at the RIO. Nice rooms there, and you are very conveniently located near the Gold Coast and the Palms.

 

Have a great trip. We stayed at Rio one night our last trip (I think it was 3 years ago). We found ourselves wishing we'd done the whole trip there. So this trip we will. Booked 4 nights.
