    My Trip Report

We leave tomorrow morning for our family trip...our first trip to Las Vegas since 1999. Boy am I looking forward to it! We are taking our kids this time (11, 13 and 22) and our daughter's friend (22). Staying at the Excalibur. Hopefully it won't be as scary as I've heard...my 22 yr. old went there with her boyfriend in March and said it was fine. I tried to convince her to stay at the Luxor for just a little more $$$ but she really wanted to stay there and show it to her sisters and friend. So far we have the Blue Man Group planned for Sunday night and the Tournament of Kings on Monday. We also have planned: Gameworks, Dolphin habitat, the Wax Museum, gondola rides, Forum shops, Speedworld, Wet and Wild and the Adventuredome. Whew! Also may rent a car one day and take a drive up to Mt. Charleston and go horsebackriding one day as my 13 yr old is an avid horsewoman.Anyone have any info on Mt. Charleston? Any other comments or any activities I've missed that are a must-see? We'll be staying for 5 nights, 6 days.

As far as gambling goes, I'm an early bird so I thought I might get a couple of hands of blackjack in before everyone else gets up...they'll all sleep in 'til noon if I let them! [IMG]

Just make sure and take time for yourself. I just got back a couple of weeks ago from vegas with my teenagers (15 & 16) and they ran us ragged. We planned so much entertainment for them that we had no time to relax (well actually my husband was the biggest problem on this trip but you will have to read my trip report to understand). Your kids will have a great time. There is so much to do and even 6 days is not enough. ENJOY!!! [IMG]

Man, I'd love to read a report from your husband's point of view, Peggy Sue...

I wonder if he'd trash you as bad...
