New to writing on this board, but have been reading the site all year and appreciate all the interesting, helpful tips shared.
This is trip #5 for our group - live near Atlantic City and go often enough, but there is nothing like Vegas. Last trip was for Thanksgiving 02. Stayed at Luxor as always, but readily agree that staff is uppity and rude. Waited for our rooms until after 7 pm after arriving at 10 am. Complained to the manager and got promise of free night on our next trip, and they deducted our Pyramid Cafe bills and gave us buffet passes. But we are not going back.
This trip going to Bally's. But already planning our next trip when we will stay downtown -- mainly because of the fascinating trip reports I've read on this site.
Going out to Red Rock and ride the horses - has anyone ever done this before?
We mostly play slots and BJ - we plan to learn craps and my husband plays poker.
We have always enjoyed Johnny Seaton's Elvis and miss him - anyone have any idea if he is still in LV doing his show? Like Big Elvis too, and I danced on stage for Jail House Rock and plan to do it again!
I dislike Pepsi and LV is such a Pepsi town that I carry my own Coke cans and request rum on the rocks - works for me.
So looking forward to this trip.
