This was from my second trip in 2009, first time playing blackjack after learning about and memorizing basic strategy. We were staying at the Luxor, and got back from running around at midnight. Found a $15 table, and bought in for $100. By 1:00am, I had bought in for another $100, and my wife was tired and went up to the room. I told her I would be up once I got back to even. It wasn't much longer before I was buying in for yet another $100. A short time later, was down a total of $300, and decided to buy in for one last $100. After an incredible 2 hour run, this is what I finished with. It was almost 5:30am, and I was too tired to bother stopping at the cashier, so I headed back to the room. After 3 hours sleep, I laid out what I had and took this picture.

Extremely inebriated, I thought I had run out of gambling money for the night, but then found four green chips in my pocket. Figured go big or go home, so I went to roulette and put one green straight up on 13, 17, 20, and 28 (so I thought).

The spin came 26, and the guy next to me started cheering and high fiving me... I was super confused, until I realized that I misplaced the last chip... I put it on 26, not 28. I got my $875 and started to walk away to head to the cage and the entire table and dealer started yelling at me to come back. Again, super confused I went back and they were telling me I still had a chip (the one that was placed on 26)... The dealer kept saying, "I'll color you up, I'll color you up" and motioning for me to give her the chips in my hand. I was super confused so I just put the chips down and said do what you have to do...then she color up my greens and I walked away with $900.

I then proceeded to the Craps table, bet $300 on the field, lost. Another $300, lost. Final $300, lost. Went to bed broke...

A pittance compared to most pictures here, but a nice win for me nonetheless

I should have grabbed a picture of the jackpot board. The new system is tiered across all games including some blackjack. For MS Stud, Royal Flush gets top, Straight Flush gets middle, 4OAK gets minor, which is what I got. It was $1906 at the time. Beautiful thing about that is the tax form only applied to the jackpot ($1906) so the other two grand (my $50 total bet X 40/1) is tax free.

    Got this win last week.
The chips are only $1 each, but whenever I want to stop a long roulette session, I usually slide at least 50% to all of my chips on either black or red. These 3 stacks won. :)

This was from a trip to the D during the NHL finals playing craps... bought in for $1200 and colored up a nice profit... highlight was hitting on a parlay-parlay hard six for $900

In Las Vegas, can you take pictures of your winning hand and chips at the table? At my local casino if you kindly ask the pit boss they would let you, what is your experience with this?

I've taken pics a few times. Usually I'll ask the dealer if I can snap a pic and they say yes or look at the pit boss who nods the 'yes'....they don't allow phones at the tables, but I've never been turned down from asking to snap a pic. Of course I've only asked a couple times in the years.

Indeed, I follow the etiquette, no cell phone use at the table except for picture of a big winning hand (with permission of the dealer or pitt boss). I wear my fitbit when playing tables so if a call or text message comes in I can discreetly see it on my wrist and take a break from the table if needed.
