Yeah, that was a DB Progressive at Vue Bar upstairs. That's where I played exclusively at the D, I farted around between JOB, DB, and Deuces Wild.

It's the one place I don't get comped with CET, and the one place I can't wait to stay! I love it!

I got an comped offer and stayed there last year and the rooms are really small and made worse with too much furniture. We lucked out and had a pretty good view of the north strip but I noticed that the rooms close to the elevator on the north side would have a nice view of a wall. My wife did love the bathroom amenities and the little make-up area by the window. I would only stay there again if they if it was a great offer with food and free play like last time.

Great report and pics. BLT also a fav of mine. My preference is for Paris these days, but may give Cromwell a shot on a possible solo October trip. Some of the better cocktails/service there imo, among the CET props.

Great report and pictures! Thanks for sharing.
Really enjoyed it. I'm happy to hear that they have
another place to eat at the Cromwell. I love playing there
and Flamingo both, but sometimes in the mornings I just
love the Cromwell because there is no one else in there. It
is so peaceful and quiet. It will be nice to be able to grab
some lunch in there without having to hoof it back to Flamingo.
    Thanks again for posting!

Great trip report! It's nice to hear someone not bashing the ol" dirty bird. I actually love the flaming, and stay there often because of location and history...(and comps) isn't the Cromwell excellent?! Man, good drink service there too!

Just had that gyro a week ago and sober, definitely good stuff.

Whats the deal with the 3 mini coneys from Cromwell???? Sounds and looks amazing how/where do you get it?

They are at eatwell (the new quick snack shop in behind the elevators to Drai's), I believe it is $5 for 3 mini chili dogs and a fountain soda.

Interesting to hear it! I've never been inside a room there, just seen pics. Never thought about the view issues, but you're right... heck, building being so short I wouldn't expect much of a view. I just think I'd enjoy the relatively small size of everything and how easy it is to get around. Thanks for the input!

Totally agree... Paris has probably become my favorite spot over the past few trips (staying there again next time), especially when I score one of those magical "P" corner rooms!

Oh, and also fully agree on Cromwell's drink service. Best on the strip in my experience!

Glad it wasn't just the booze talking.... that thing definitely hit the spot!

Right there with you on every point! The price is right, the people are friendly, and the history & location is the best! And hey, Cromwell is basically just a fancy annex of the ol' bird after all. ;)

Yup, that's it - refills too! Seemed too good to be true, but we were there on opening day (and two more times) and the manager said the price was here to stay!

Just curious if Virgil's redeems TR RC's? I've been looking forward to going there an/or Canter's Deli when they open in the Linq Promenade on my next trip.
