From part way up some rocky hill in Red Rock. If you can get out here for a few hours while visiting you will not be sorry. 25 minute or so drive from NYNY. Climbing ranges from pretty easy too get some rope and hold my beer.
One of my favorite buildings to take pics of in Vegas. Very few ever turn out like I hoped for.
If you look closely at the angle and perspective of this shot, the apparent amount of lean is exaggerated by the wide angle of the shot and the trapezoid distortion of the view. Right behind the tower that appears to lean is the sister tower which veers (pun intended) the other way, and appears almost vertical in the shot. If you look at the other building behind on the left, you will see that it appears to lean as well, but not as much.
Eiffel Tower night time perspective...
Good one, Mudhen!
Have always wondered what’s in this thing
while ive never been in it, IIRC that was the strip entrance to the elevated "people mover" to Caesars Palace, they took it down the when Club Pure left and Omnia was built
Thanks. That one was with the Sony RX100 II.
Yes, it was a people mover. I remember seeing it on one of my first trips and I thought it was a night club entrance or something because people really dressed up where using it at night time. Then on my next trip I saw it and realized what it was. I can't remember if I ever used it or not. You can see it on StreetView as late as 2011. Then anytime after 2013 it is gone.
Hey Man nice shot.
I love this view, but I consider this particular photo to be an out-take due to all of the artifacts caused by the dirty pod window.

You wouldn't see this car in this condition where I am from.
Not quite Las Vegas, but close enough! Laughlin's River Walk!
