    I sure hope they can pull this off... it would be an incredible assist to the economy in replacing the far off-campus and aged Sam Boyd stadium. Being "on-campus" wouldn't the worst thing that could happen to the Hard Rock either, being right across the street.

    The day after the ground breaks on that stadium, the Pac-12 will extend an invitation to UNLV. But I don't see how the stadium is feasible.

    I just attended the Las Vegas Bowl. The Bowl does it's best to try to make it a big time experience, but the stadium is like a oversized High School venue. This new stadium would be a fantastic bowl venue!

    Sam Boyd is a rough stadium for sure....

    They said the new stadium would be on campus? I don't think they need a 100 yd scoreboard, not to mention they don't need to spend $800M, wow.
