What pools are open downtown? All of them? Any info on the status would be appreciated.

Plaza, Nugget and Downtown Grand (only 3 worth mentioning) are all open with social distancing in place.

I just heard from BInions. The rooftop pool isn't open yet but they indicate this will continue to be evaluated, whatever that means.

Will any of them be allowing non registered guests to use the pool?
In the past, I know they have at DTG and Plaza.

The Plaza pool is open with full pool bar available! Social Distancing protocol is in place for the safety of all guests.

Both Plaza and DTG only allow Hotel Guests at the pool.

This is very important to me. I hate it when I go to use a hotel pool and it's being used for a birthday party or some special event.

Does anyone know if the D pool allows Golden Gate guests to use it? I'll be staying a few nights at Golden Gate as well.

While I don't know specifically, my guess is that they absolutely would. Really just wanted to add that there is not much to the pool at The D. Your local Hampton Inn might have a better one.

I would just workout in the room. I have a TRX I can bring with me and also do tabata bodyweight exercises for quicker working out. Tabata btw is 20 sec work as fast and as controlled as possible with 10 sec rest for 4 minutes straight of whatever exercise you choose. I will be there on the 28th staying at the D. I can also do bodyweight workout in the pool as well.

I booked 2 cabanas at the Plaza for the end of July and I'm not a guest there. They are also really reasonable. 1 cabana on the weekend is $50 rental fee plus $150 f&B, I'm getting 2 sided by side and they waived the 2nd rental fee so just $50 for both plus $300 f&b, we have 12 people so that will be easy. Also included with each cabana is 6 bottles of water, and a fruit tray so its a great deal.
