For me, it would be gambling, but I enjoy pretty much all of it!

Gambling and shows mainly, but last trip it was also about saving money on airfare. We got super cheap RT's from home to Vegas and from Vegas to Seatac.

Gambling, shows, drinks.. all of it. For us, its the only place we can get away without our kids (love our 4 kids- but still!) and have no time frame. For the most part everything is always open, we can eat, drink, sleep and play when we want and we aren't on a time frame. Our daily lives are so rush rush rush go here, go there, pick up this kid drop off this kid, be here by this time... its SO nice in Vegas to just do whatever whenever and not even worry about what time it is (unless we have a show or dinner reservation of course). Its so freeing and refreshing.

My favorite part is always the food and drinks. Such an amazing variety. I also just love people watching and taking photos around the resorts.

I primary go for mainly entertainment reason; shows, food, club (I'm the first one vote for this lol) gambling too but I get that locally. Bunnies once in a while but always make it personal too.

Sports betting (primarily football and NASCAR ) but we do schedule around bands we like, so shows number two.

Gambling, Shows, Food, People watching. But mostly to gamble. Love to play craps. When I go solo it's gamble, gamble, gamble.

When I go with my wife it's eating at nice places, shopping, seeing shows, sightseeing. But there is a significant amount of gambling in there as well.

Gambling/drinking for 1 and of course all the food and people watching and shows. I like going with friends and drink and gamble and have as much fun as humanly possible. But we end up gambling and drinking the most and try and visit every casino on the strip haha.

    -I love drinking.
-I love gambling, but only if I have a good buzz going.
-I love Vegas weather, especially in the summer. I LOVE sitting in the pool with a cold bucket of Summer Shandy when it's 105 outside.
-I love that no matter how late I was out the previous night, my body clock wakes me up by at least 430a local time and I can walk the strip while the night ends for some and a new day begins for others. What a unique blend.
-What I love the most is who I'm able to go with. I have a bunch of buddies in a bunch of different cities- if we have to fly somewhere to hang out, it may as well be Vegas.

Could I have an adult beverage at 6am at home? Yes I could. But I don't feel out of place doing it in Las Vegas.

Could I go to a local casino and gamble? Yes, but not with the same odds and atmosphere.

Do they have great restaurants in my city? Of course, but they aren't as imaginative.

Can I see entertaining shows in my town....well not very often.

I know it has become a cliche, but nobody knows what I do in Vegas, and I like it that way.

Scenery, Atmosphere, Views, Gambling, All night drinking, Shopping, Entertainment, hotels.. I find the hotels in Las Vegas much cheaper compared to hotels in the LA,SD, and OC area plus much more options as far as dining, entertainment, and shopping go... Why pay $250+ a night in LA when I can pay a little over $250 a weekend in Vegas with much more options.

    Another great thread idea, @BobLasVegas!
I hope the countdown clock to your MSS stay ticks down faster than normal!

    Top 5 Reasons:
    1) Get away from the minions (Except for our family trip a couple years back. :ssst: I didn't think that one through too well...) and time with my bride :wink2:
    2) Get my gamble on :licklips:
    3) People watch :hmmm: (As mentioned in other threads I'm surrounded by lumberjacks and Hillbilly Jim lookalikes here at home.)
    4) Eat :feedme:
    5) Experience things quintessentially Vegas--concerts, shows, the dry heat, those special metal staircases they have there called escalators...:D

I could play slots here at home, but NOT at 4 am..... I could go from one casino to another, but would have to arrange transport.... I could people watch here, but most of the time it's chilly and rainy.... Vegas it is!
