A week minimum for me. I have done shorter and I'm being dragged kicking and screaming to the plane.

We used to just go for 7 nights, that was many years ago, than we bought a timeshare for 2 weeks, I also get comped through MGM for 5 nights so for Feb we will be going from 31 Jan til 3 Mar, I love it. We are not big time gamblers but still get comped and coming from Canada we only come once a year so like to make it worthwhile.

Every summer we go a full week with the family, driving from Southern California, usually with a side trip to a national park (mainly as cover for spending a week in vegas with the kids). I also usually go with my wife about once a year without the kids for a 3 day weekend, and once with some of my buddies from college for another 3 day weekend. For the shorter trips we usually fly.

8-10 is our norm, and perfect. We stay at a 2-3 hotels so it's like a reboot each hotel. It also takes away the go-go-go pressure, and like northerngirl said, lets you take naps, lounge at the pool, putter, and just really unwind. What I love about Vegas is that there is NO schedule, other than what you self-impose, and a longer trip really lets me just go with the flow.

Though, we did do 12 nights once, even for us, that was too long. Spring comp offers are the best, so we do 3 hotels in the spring (9-10 days) and then 2 hotels in the autumn (7-8 days.)

About a week for us for the few times we've been. But that is why we plan to extend on the next trip since we don't go so often. Also to make that flight worth it...

We only get to go once a year, so we 9 or 10 days. It's a grind, but you come back with so many memories and stories!

Our favorite trips are 5 day/4 nighters - just enough time to do everything at a relaxing pace and plenty of gambling both timewise and budgetary wise. Upcoming trip is a week long one with close friends - looking forward to taking in all the Christmas/Holiday decorations everywhere - hope my envelope system doesn't present too much of a challenge when the old slot deviancy kicks in - 7 days in a casino is a lonnngggg time :wink2:.

I like to stay in Vegas for 6 to 7 nights. It's cheaper to fly on Tuesday or Wednesday, so this next trip in January will be Wednesday to Wednesday. I'm finally to the point in my life when I can go twice a year. My wife likes Vegas but doesn't love Vegas (she loves the beach, I love to gamble), so I probably will start to do some solo trips. If I'm going by myself I will probably just go for 4 nights. I've never been on vacation by myself so that should be interesting.

6 nights seems to be the sweet spot for me. 5 if I am running short on vacation days from work. I like to have 2 hours a day at the pool, or a little more. if I go when it is not pool season I can work with 4 days if I have to. I have been to vegas 50+ times now. I learned early on, that the time disappears just as fast as your money.

10-14 days for us three or four times a year from the east coast. Even then it's not long enough but we usually do side trips to NP's, hiking, etc so that we're not in the casinos 24/7. Guess we should just move there!

I used to stay 4-5...and even did a 10 day trip with a girl once...but now since I live a 45 min flight away...24-48 hours and 48 hours is pushing it

3-4 is usually the best, but I've done plenty of 2 night trips if the airfare is right. It's not that bad to get in early in the afternoon, have 2 nights and fly out the last day.

3 nights for us. 2 reasons; I don't like to be away from my kids for longer than that. Also, after 3 nights I am 100% spent.

I come from Baltimore, so I have to say for 4 nights minimum as it's a 5 hour flight. So, it works out well because 4 nights and 5 full days is my limit. I went for 7 days once, it was WAY too much.
I normally land in Vegas at around 8:30am, stay 4 nights, and leave the last day at 6:00pm to stretch out the Vegas experience.

I agree with this so much! My sweet spot is 3 1/2 days. 4 days and I need to leave. I wish I can explain it. I always go solo though. If I had a significant other going with me it woud probably be different.

Usually about 2 1/2 weeks, but did a month last year, and doing the same in June.

I don't get smashed every night, so it's a lot more relaxing than you guys that fly in for a Hangover style weekend :D
