Much of the 2nd floor is currently closed off. While the Vue bar is open, the construction wall is out to the bar, taking away access to 4 machines. It can get pretty loud at times. Restaurants are open. The 8/5 BP machines that accepted FP are not. There are a few .50c machines downstairs by hotel check in and 8/6? BP deluxe at the Long Bar that accept FP. The Vue Bar is scheduled to reclaim their seats in 10 days. Construction is supposed to be completed as soon as 2 weeks and before March Madness.

There are 2 construction zones upstairs. I had thought that the new bar and sports book was replacing the old showrooms. I'm not sure what is happening in the middle of the floor.

I left this past Monday and Sigma was up and running. Sigma is such a draw that I would find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have it available during the construction moving forward. There have been reports that the Vue bar has been temporarily impacted with the removal of several seats that should be back up and running in 10 or so days.

Sigma Derby has been relocated to keep it available. It is West of the walled-off are. Only the table is there. The top part is not. You can fully enjoy.

Sigma Derby was in use yesterday.

On another topic, I asked at the player's desk whether they would be running their usual 5X point multiplier on President's Day. I was told that they are not doing point multiplier days this year.

The D/GG certainly cut down on multiplier days last year and now no more multiplier days. At least MSS still has multiplier day.

Gotta tip my hat to Derek Stevens. He hires the fastest contractors. Remember how fast that expansion of GG into the space next door happened?

Bigger Downtown footprint = less value.:cry::blink::cry:Come on Derek don't start this crap. Multiplier days on holidays are a tradition!

Checked it out on Thurs 13, Sigma was up and pretty full, also, IIRC, high limit was still open but not much else for slots..
The strange giant walled off box in the middle and the odd hallways made it seem strange and unwelcoming at the moment.
YMMV depending on how much a vue bar/sigma addict you are.
forgot to take pictures, breezed up and back down just to take a look.
Guess I might be around to see if they make the MM date.
