Planet Hollywood, Hollywood hip room question

I've booked a Hollywood hip room for July with fountain view a while ago but have now noticed that for July planet Hollywood are only offering ultra hip rooms and the hollywood hip rooms seem to have gone. Is this because they are upgrading all the h/h rooms to ultras?
Also would this then mean we should be given the ultra room when we check in?

Yes I believe so and I think the ultra hip's are better than the Hollywood hip's. I'm staying at PHo for the first time next week and the consensus from my research seemed to suggest that the ultras were the way to go.

PS - tip of the cap for your user name. A Wire fan, eh?
 
A note our host from Planet Ho sent us said the remodeling is supposed to be done by the end of June. Hope that helps............Rick
 
Wife and I had were able to use the $20 trick and get a ultra hip for New Years. Nice room. I posted some pictures of my trip report from that trip.
 
All the Hollywood hip rooms are being transformed to Ultra hip. Most of the ones with a view of the fountains are the premium Ultra hip which includes a small table and upgraded bedding.

It's been said but Ultra Hip is just the name they're using for a renovated Hip room.
 
We were put in a remodeled Boulevard Suite (now called the Ultra Blvd suite) over New Years and they did a great job on them. I rechecked and the remodeling is going to be completed as I said earlier by the end of June so they are all now renamed the "Ultra" rooms. You will enjoy them, they are much brighter......................Rick
