We both love the vibe at PH. The drink service is consistently good. We've also had the best luck there (but that's not saying much).

My room was okay when I stayed there 2 years ago. Nice large bathroom. Separate shower from the whirlpool tub. The room was dark but I liked that. Very comfy bed. I would prefer to stay there than any other CET property FWIW.

PH, along with the Mirage, are really fun places to play craps. In addition, the buffet at PH is the best on the strip, at least to me....

We tried Planet Hollywood twice as a hotel and were disappointed both times. Long elevator waits and REALLLLLLLY long Valet waits were the biggest problems. The rooms are also very dark and dreary.

With that said - I do love the casino and property in general. We spend a lot of time every visit, enjoy Earl of Sandwich at LEAST once a trip, and also try and have the Croissant French Toast at Planet Dailies the day we leave. I used to like their slot floor a lot better a few years ago, but it's still pretty good and they have a lot of games that no other CET properties carry.

They also have a couple Big Split Poker machines - a game that I just love wasting a couple of hours away on low rolling.

Once again I would like to thank all that replied. I have just canceled this trip because MGM sent me a offer via facebook and I am now going Super Bowl weekend

PH was the first property I stayed when I was a Vegas virgin. I thought it was a good representation of LV. Everything is there with enough glitz and glamour to make you feel like you are in Vegas! Yes, they rooms can be run down, I thought ours was fine. Yes, casino is a bit hard to get figured out, plan on getting lost if you have never been!

I would recommend PH in a heartbeat. The location is top notch and you can walk to Cosmo easily now, that is a huge plus for me!

Also near the ABC Store if you go outdoors and to the left near the escalators, there is a Walgreen's where you can buy drinking water for $1.59/gallon. I usually get a couple of gallons when I arrive. What's funny is that since I'm a Diamond Club member, I get Voss water at the gambling tables.

I also played Crazy Four Poker that weekend with Lisa as the dealer. But I played on Sunday when she was the relief only there for 20 minutes at a time. I was there when the guy on the Three-Card-Poker table next to me won the million.

I always get upgraded due to my play, but I have stayed in the smaller rooms before. Yes, they can be small which is accentuated by having one small window. The resort room is better because the room is larger, and it has two windows. But the better room is the Resort Vista room because it is larger with floor-to-ceiling windows and has a large bathroom with a large window next to the tub. All windows overlook the fountain.

Big time on the valet. It can be atrocous. We once waited nearly 40 minutes for our car. And much of the time the valet is full so you can't use it at all. The self park area takes you through the mall, which is also less than ideal.

That said, I agree with all the other positive points about PH. The long valet wait has kept me from stopping more than once though.

Diamond line. I've never waited EVER for a cab at PHo that I can remember and I've stayed there 3 trips in the last 2 years.

But overall, I'm a huge fan of PH. Yes I fit into the younger demographic, but I feel like there's just some good vibes about this place. I'm a huge fan of their sports book, personally. Rooms can be nice, but can be a dark dungeon on occasion as well. Food options are decent, and Miracle Mile isn't half bad either. It's just a combination of the simple things that make it one of the best for me personally. By that I mean when the drink service is flowing well, everything is flowing well.

I was a little surprised reading about the negative responses on the bathrooms and rooms. I love the fact you can sit, comfortably, on a small bench in the shower. Nice for a big guy like me who just wants to relax when he is in Vegas.

I found both my room and bed to be clean and comfortable, though the TV is placed at an odd angle. I think I had the "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" theme. I also liked the Planet Dailies restaurant, and hopefully they will not have removed the "Creature From The Black Lagoon" slot I can't find anywhere else. Service was good, and I got decent play out of most of the machines.

Negatives for me, when I stayed there two years ago, I drove and the hike from the parking lot to the check-in was interminably long. I'm a heavyset guy, and so a walk does me good, but not that long with luggage. Spice Market buffet to me was lackluster with poor service. Even the TR Platinum line was long.

Last year, I stayed at Paris and visited PH's poker room. I wasn't a fan at the time (more because of the tournament structure and the open-air room) but knowing they are doing more challenging tournaments (WSOP Circuit, and I'm told during the actual WSOP they had some killer series going on) I think I can be persuaded.

I'm checking in tonight and need to change my room from a double to a single. Hopefully they've got something for me.

I don't spend too much time in the room when I'm out there. As long as it's clean and doesn't smell, I'm not too worried about it.

You should be good. Wednesday's are pretty slow usually. I should be checking in in about an hour if things work out.

I find the shower benches pretty disgusting personally. Who knows what's gone on on them..

I'm alway surprised to hear about negative experiences at PH, I love it there. Great casino, Miracle Mile has great food options and I've never had an issue with the rooms. Last time I was there, the front desk even let me look at two separate room views and choose which one I wanted. I ended up with a great fountain view.

PH has become my favorite casino/hotel. Rooms are nice, casino is great, dealers are knowledgeable. Restaurant selections are very good, and of course Earl of Sandwich is great for lunch. The only negatives are:
    1. Dance music that blares throughout the casino starting at 6 pm - does not fit with the age group of most of the patrons.
    2. Valet parking - worst on the Strip. The valets make you feel like they are doing you a huge favor by parking your car. And getting it back takes FOREVER.

Think that PH is quite good because of the Location mid-Strip, fountains and Cosmo at Hands...
Nice views with ladies, nice Young bunch at night and good Music while playing.
Romms are ok for the Price considering the Location, parking is quite a way to go and valet often full...
