Just booked Planet Hollywood, comped, I'm guessing because of my Total Rewards Visa. I was able to book the Ultra Hip, strip view, newly remodeled. Just wondering, after reading the Caesar's post below, will they screw around with me when I arrive? Like all of the sudden they don't have it available? I'm also considering a 20-50-or 100 trick to get some sort of suite as we are going for my niece's 21st b-day (Dec 18-22).

I'm a little sad that this is the first time I won't be staying at The Signature (my fav!) but you can't beat free.

Room comps are typically based on play. Do you not play at TR casinos?
You shouldn't have any problems getting your room unless you check in late at night. If you wanted a suite, they would probably offer it at an upgrade price per night. It just depends on when you are going and how busy it is.

They don't guarantee room choice on comped rooms but last month I had booked PH one night to put family in on their last night of trip and got the room I requested.

If it's free it's me is my saying. I wouldn't hold my breath though on that type of upgrade with $$$ trick. Personally the 2 times I tried to do a $20 there I was told what the cost per night would be for the upgrade and they would be happy to accommodate my wife and I. Doesn't hurt to try though since it is right before Christmas.

I just got back. We booked this exact same deal and since we checked in at 11:30PM, we were put up in a regular Hip room for the night. It was no problem changing rooms the next day.
