    My Trip Report

I am not an elaborate trip report type person but this could help answer a few questions and our opinions on others. Flew in on Friday and limo was waiting, as this was our 7* trip all first class. Checked in, this time we decided (yes we decided) to take a smaller room the Vista Resort, Hunter offered the Panorama but it is too big for just the two of us. At check in they were putting us in the 17th floor south tower but we requested to wait for a north tower high floor....ended up 2 hours later north tower 22nd floor, what a view. Planet Dailey's will be open in early October and the buffet is supposed to be, we would not have breakfast there and did got to Paris for breakfasts and our one lunch we had.

Gambling we hit 4 W-2s yea, aces 3 times on super double double (2,000 and 1600 2x) plus Michelle hit a royal. We hit our goals 2500 plus tier credits/day and brought back most of our bankroll. Michelle also rehit 7* for next year again. This made the trip.

Food, we were sort of celebrating my 60th a month early so ate at Martorano's and GR Steak both were just phenomenal as always. The chicken parm is great at Martorano's and I will always order it. The rib eye and Beef Wellington were great a solid 9.5 and I would recommend to all.
We were not going to eat at Bacchanal this time but had one more celebration voucher than we thought so tried again and this time it was probably the best we have had. The prime rib was so tender it could be cut with a fork, they had Wagyu roast beef which was good and the portion was way too much. The Italian station was great as a whole it is, at least this past Friday, back to a great buffet again.

We saw the Who Monday and for a couple of early 70 year old rockers they sure can still rock. Pete Townsend is still a guitar God and Roger's voice is solid. The show went on 2 hours and 15 minutes and the place went nuts.
The bad there was a shooting outside of PH on Sunday night and at 4:30am the sirens we blaring, no was was hit fortunately.

All in all a great trip, one last thing we met our new host and she is very nice, did a lot of follow up work with us and also got us in at GR Steak as it was full on Open Table We have a ton of RC's and with our celebration vouchers and our $500 folio credit we had to use about $8.00 of our RCs. Hope is may answer some questions. A great trip.............Rick

Great report. Congrats on the W-2's. I'll be spending my birthday in Vegas for the first time in October also staying at Planet Hollywood. I also wait for a room in the North Tower.

Thanks for the great report!! Wishing you a Happy Birthday!! Just wondering, you mentioned the Planet Hollywood buffet was closed, as well as Planet Dailies till October. Is that due to the flood they had earlier? Or just a renovation? Thanks!!

The buffet is not closed it is just half the size and probably should have closed. This is all do to the flood but both Michelle and I think a reno is long over-do. Thanks for the wishes, 60 came awful fast.....Rick
