    My Trip Report

Arrived in the afternoon via a no issue SWA flight. Had a great ride via Lyft to PHO. Checked in to a Hip room on the 29th floor South Tower. Nice room but was the first room from the elevators. After checkin walked over to the Bellagio to check out the year of the dog display. On the way back we popped into Cosmo to play and I went to the Identity desk to get a copy of my card and was informed that I had 75 dollars of free play. Don't know how that happened but who's to complain. Played a version of Double Diamond that was max bet 27 quarters and did really good winning the minor for $250 twice. Finished the night with a visit to the ABC store for supplies and a couple of slices from Pinup Pizza.

Started the quest for rewards at Paris at the triple play machines in front of Ramsey Steak. Earned my points with only a 20 dollar loss. Switched machines to get my wife's points and hit AWAK for a nice $500 win. Played the double credit machines at Bally's in the high limit room scoring our points and $100 win. I gave that back at Cromwell getting our points. After getting our points at Margeritaville it was time to eat before visiting TAG. We shared a pizza with a meatball app at Flour and Barley in the Linq promenade. It was really good and pretty reasonable. Caught the end of the race and enjoyed some Swami's IPA at TAG get our points with a small win. The wife had a nice win on a 2x3x Red White & Blue. Finished the night at PHO with a day in the Black.

Plan for today was to use a Myvegas reward for lunch at the Aria buffet and check out a Diamond show that night. On the way to Aria we stopped at Cosmo so my wife could play her favorite 3x4x5 machine in the front of the casino. I settled in at the Willie Wonka machine nearby and went on a oompah bonus streak. It seemed like I got the bonus every 5 spins. In for $100 out for just under $400. Headed to the buffet and it was OK. Tried to play Bee Jay's machine on row 802 but someone was camped out. Slowly worked our way back to PHO where I started feeling bad. Tried to play some VP but couldn't concentrate so the wife recommended we go up to the room and rest to see if I could kick the funk

After having a terrible night the next morning I wasn't any better. Tried taking a shower but still felt like crap. The maid came by and I tipped her extra to change out the bed linens while I took my wife to McD's since she was starving. After getting her fed I watched her play some slots but ended up back in the room. Woke up that night still not feeling well. Took my wife down and she played some slots and ended up getting her an Earls to take back up to the room. First time in all my trips that I wasted a Vegas day not feeling well.

Last full day and woke up feeling better and was kinda hungry. Worked our way down to In and Out which was not the best choice after having felt like crap the day before. Tried to get some play in to make for the previous day. Best win of the day was on a Penn & Teller machine at PHO. The game looked interesting so I put $100 in and played it down to $70getting small wins of 27 or 38 cents on a $3 bet. I made the decision to cash out at $50 when I hit the goldfish bonus. Penn started reaching in a fish bowl grabbing a handful of coins that he threw on the reels and they turned into goldfish. I wasn't sure how much I won but it kept adding up to a $250.70 win. Cashed out and slotted around the rest of the night

Had to leave for the airport before 11 so we had a sandwich at Earl's. Afterwards I sat at my 100 play machine to play some DDB. Earned about 100 tier credits only loosing $40 bucks when I was dealt 4 threes. Ended up getting the kicker on 27 hands for another win of a little over $500 bucks. Played a couple of more hands and called it a trip.

I was booked on a Great Gift Wrap Up and was worried since I didn't play to my normal level. I had two of the best Lyft drivers ever in Dale and James. Ended up coming home with $1700 more than I took including I got one of the booklets of $2 dollars bills from Cosmo. Our next trip is in May booked on another GGWU offer that also includes a $75 food credit. I guess we made our last visit to the diamond lounge since I didn't earn the needed tier credits to hit the target.

Sucks getting sick in Vegas but lucky for me it only knocked down for a day. I couldn't imagine flying back how I felt on Tuesday. Never made it to Nine Fine Irishman and also had to cancel dinner at Hells Kitchen. Never did make it to the diamond show and the wife wanted no part in walking through the bodies exhibit. We did walk through the Twilight Zone mini golf at Bally's.

Thanks for reading and I think I have some pictures I'll try and attach.

Sorry about the one day you weren't feeling well but it sounds like otherwise you had a great -- and winning! -- trip!

Sounds like a nice trip except for the sickies, bummer :vomit: Just means you have to book another trip to make up for it.

Glad you didn’t have to fly on a sick day, ugh.

I had not seen a P&T machine......just the image cracked me up.

Awful to be sick in Vegas, but at least you only missed one day! Nice slot hits! And you did very well on the Quest....the only places I won on it were PHo and Paris!

Oh man, sick on a Vegas trip is the absolute worst.....sorry you had to go through that. I think most of us have had it happen more or less, but sounds like yours was MORE. Good for Lady Luck to send you good gambling karma as a consolation prize (but not worth it!) Congrats on your good fortune and thanks for sharing!
