Staying at Aria with a several friends in a few weeks.
All the guys want me to find a good spot to watch the games but don't want to pay for seats.
I usually grab a seat in the sportsbook there or at the sports bar.
They are looking for a change on this trip.
The new bar/book at Cosmo looks interesting but concerned about getting seats for 4-5 guys.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Moneyline in ParkMGM was surprisingly nice and just opened so may not yet be super busy for football Saturdays.

Hubs is a HUGE college sports fan, but doesn't like sportsbooks. He also hits Twin Peaks, or Blondie's (in Miracle Mile/PH).

TAP sports bar at the MGM is nice and it is close enough to the sports book if you want to place some bets. I'm waiting for UKFanatic to weigh in because I bet he would have some good suggestions.

If you just want to go to a different sports book I've heard the Westgate Superbook is pretty awesome

Yes - Westgate Sportsbook is fantastic - but I think getting 4-5 seats together there would be tough unless someone arrived early. They get a huge local crowd for Sunday football - I imagine they also get a pretty big (but less insane) crowd on Saturdays for college football.

You have to get there early to get seats together, but Westgate or Mirage sports books are my favorite places.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
    All look like great alternatives.
I have been to Westgate Superbook a few times and it does get jammed.
I forgot about Blondies, that is a fun spot.I think you can reserve tables there.
They were looking for maybe a bar with possibly some VP.

Cosmo you will have around $100 f&b minimum for seats and they're stools.

ParkMGM is more like a sports bar than a sports book. It's not hard to get a table or seats and it's right next door to Aria.

If you prefer a sports book Mandalay Bay would be a good option if you don't wanna pay or get there super early.

I still say the new-ish book at Cromwell is underrated. It's small, but the video wall is big and bright and beautiful. We've never had any trouble getting a high top 4-seat table where we could see all the games. And I just buy bigass beers at the gift shop a few at a time for about $2.50 apiece, usually using TR credits. And the wings from Eatwell are surprisingly good.

There's a ton of VP machines back there, too, if anyone gets the itch.

I was just at Cromwell on 10/17. The seats can be reserved however I sat in an unreserved seat for a couple of hours and watched UB Bulls become bowl eligible. The tables on the cashier side of the Sportsbook, with the tall stools were completely empty. The back row with the stools and counter tops also had some vacancies! The main section of Sportsbook seating was nice leather chairs with cup holders. Reserved ones had a reserved sign on them. I’d say that 30% of the seats were either vacant and/ or unreserved .

It’s often overlooked because it’s a hike from the casino, but Bally’s has a very big Sportsbook with stadium-style seating. I was there last year for a Saturday with a group of four. We had no trouble getting seats, the ticket writers were reasonably liberal with drink tickets (a few tips never hurt), there’s a food court right there, and you’re a 20 second walk from the Stage Door in case you lose s big bet and need to go cry. It’s not as glamorous as a lot of the other books on the strip, but might suit your needs.
