Ping Pang Pong to receive major makeover

Ping Pang Pong will be demolished and completely rebuilt in $3M makeover. Folks will have to make do with Noodle Exchange.

3 million. Wow. It always looked busy but with loss of revenue during the redo you have to wonder how long it will take to make sense of it. The place isn't that big (or wasn't) and didn't seem overpriced. But as at the other Boyd properties, updates / expansion seem to be the norm.

Wow - I was going to start complaining about the renovation, but I didn't know that the El Cortez room was already replaced. Cornerstone looks nice! I need a cheap Saturday night room in Feb., perhaps I will do Gold Coast after all...

They did a nice job with Cornerstone. Hard to describe but it still has an old school vibe but looks a lot fresher.

It's really nice that they are putting money back into Gold Coast and their other casinos. We wanted to try the Conerstone last trip but they had a promotion going and we couldn't get a reservation until after 8pm.

Have they announced a date for the restaurant to close and the construction to begin? We were hoping to go there on Jan 2, 2017.

UPDATE: No need to close. Ping Pang Pong will move into the closed Gold Coast showroom once renovated. New space will seat 300.
