What can you tell me about the high limit area at PH (slots/VP, not the table game area)? Never been in there but think I will check it out on my next trip.

I've played VP a number of times in the Champagne Slots area at Paris, how do the Paris and PH areas compare? Do you prefer one over the other? Thanks...

They got a nice ash tray in high limit slot area

I saw a guy hit 8k wheel of fortune 100dollars machine.

The slot area is almost empty everytime but table area is okay.

I actually prefer the Champagne slots at Paris over PH's HL room. Davinci Diamonds and Cleo are part of the same machines at PH, I think you select from 4 different games on a menu before you start. PH also has $25 and $100 WoF like Paris, but the $5 WoF is outside the HL room. Both joints have Top Dollar. I find the majority of the games at PH to be a bit generic, and like the variety at Paris better. As far as VP is concerned, I haven't looked at the pay tables, so I'm not sure if one is superior over the other. At least at PH there is always someone manning the area in open view if you happen to hit a hand pay. At Paris, you never know if anyone is back in that little office.

I haven't had any luck at the HL area at Paris, and only marginal success at the HL area at PH. However, the HL area at Paris is right next to Gordon Ramsay Steak, and lots of eye candy there . . . .

As far as I know, PHo has better VP in high limit. They should have 9/5 Jacks (98.45%) on their quarter 100 play, and 9/5 Jacks w/DSTP (98.95%) for dollars, which is the best returning VP game on the Strip that gives full points at CET.

As you probably guessed, that's my reason for checking it out on my next trip!

Appreciate the replies. More so than game selection, I'm wondering if you prefer one over the other in terms of overall ambiance, cocktail service, etc...

I tend to see CW's patrolling at Paris HL more so than PH, and I'm more comfortable playing in there. Neither place is ever very busy. I walk through MGM's HL area on the weekends and there are 10 people just waiting around to get their hand pays taken care of. At Paris and PH you may see 10 people total.

LOL no kidding. I've played in Paris HL my last two trips (weekends) and don't think there's ever been more than a few people besides me.
